Ugh, I'm so over the whole "subzero temps" thing Like, yeah, Philly's got to deal with it, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun while it's happening. The Mummers string band competition is gonna be lit , and who cares if it was cancelled last year? It's back on now, and it's gonna be better than ever! The ice sculptures in Manayunk are also a major win I mean, I know some people might be all like "brrr, too cold", but not me. Give me the chill vibes and the chance to check out some sick art any day
I love how Philly people are making the most of this polar vortex ! I mean, who needs sunshine when you can have ice sculptures and car shows ? It's like the city is one big winter wonderland . And hey, if you're not into that, there's always CultureFest! or a great excuse to try some delicious zero-proof drinks . I'm definitely heading out to check it all out – can't wait for a fun day in the cold . And let's be real, those Mummers string bands are going to bring the energy !
omg i love philly in winter this mummers string band event is gonna be so lit!!! ive heard its super fun and colorful, and who doesnt love a good "mini musical" i've also been eyeing the ice sculptures at founders philly freeze-out, thats just amazing! gotta try some of that chowder crawl too car shows are always cool (get it? ) and culture fest sounds like a blast too, cant wait to see the lion dance finale
aww man i'm so down for that mummers string band spectacular ! who needs warm weather when you can have parades and parties in the snow i've lived in philly my whole life and this is literally one of my favorite things about our city - it's just so... us. but honestly, it sounds like there's something for everyone, whether you're into art, music, or just wanting to stay warm with a cuppa ️
Brrr, Philly's freezing its buns off! But you know what they say, "when life gives you snow, make ice sculptures" I'm actually kinda stoked that they're having all these fun events this weekend. I mean, who needs sunshine when you can have Mummers string band performances and icy car shows? Plus, the Founders Philly Freeze-Out sounds like a blast (literally, with all those fireworks?). And for all my culture vultures out there, CultureFest! at the Penn Museum is gonna be a real treat. No drinking required, because who needs that when you can have live entertainment and zero-proof drinks? Dry Vibes, indeed! Anyway, if I were in Philly, I'd totally be hitting up all these events...or just staying under my blanket with a hot cup of coffee ️
