'A different type of game': USMNT veterans on how to handle World Cup pressure

omg I'm still reeling from that USMNT exit 🤯! Berhalter's point about the team lacking big-game experience is so valid... like they were already under pressure just to make it outta the group stage 😅. And can we talk about how mental health played a huge role in their performance? The Iran match must've taken some toll, but you'd think they'd be more prepared for the Round of 16 💪.

anywayz, I'm actually kinda stoked that Berhalter's emphasizing the need to build momentum and compete harder 🏆. Hosting the 2026 World Cup is a huge deal, and it's time for the USMNT to step up their game! maybe they can learn from this experience and come back stronger 💥

🤔 I mean, can you blame them? Losing in the Round of 16 is never easy, especially when you're considered an underdog team. But what really gets me is how they're already looking ahead to 2026. Like, they gotta put in the work if they wanna host the World Cup and make a real impact! 💪 It's all about setting those high expectations and showing the world what they're made of. I'm sure it won't be easy, but I love their spirit! 😊

I mean, I think it's awesome that Berhalter is already looking ahead and emphasizing the importance of building momentum! 🚀 Like, hosting the 2026 World Cup is a huge opportunity for the USMNT to shine on their home turf, right? And let's be real, it's all about experience, so I'm hyped that Robinson is talking about competing harder and fighting more. I mean, we've seen how far they've come since 2010, and this is just another step in the right direction! 🤩 Of course, beating the Netherlands was a tough one, but like, we can't put too much pressure on ourselves, you know? We'll get 'em next time, and when we do, watch out world! 😉

idk what's up w/ US soccer rn? they got all hype before the world cup but still can't even make it past the round of 16 lol. i mean, berhalter says its cuz they lack experience playing in big moments but come on, that's just an excuse. they gotta step their game up if they wanna compete w/ the best. hosting the world cup in 2026 is a great chance 4 them to build momentum & make some noise, lets see if they can do it 🤔

man this team is like the underdog in a big fight they gave it a shot but just got caught up in the moment 🤯 i feel bad for them, they've been making progress and now they're back at square one gotta give credit though, they took some hits and showed heart 💪 what's next? they need to work on building that confidence and experience for the 2026 World Cup that's like a huge stage for them 📺

I'm so bummed about how the US team did in the World Cup 🤕. I mean, they had some tough matches but you'd think they could've made it a bit further. Berhalter makes some good points about how their mental game took a hit from that first match against Iran 😓. But at the same time, I can see what he means about them not having enough experience playing in big games - it's like they're still learning to swim 🏊‍♂️.

I'm curious to see how they'll do next time though. With the World Cup coming up in 2026, they should be able to use that as a stepping stone and maybe even build on some of the momentum from this year's tournament 🚀. It's all about competing harder and fighting for every goal, you know?
