A massive, Chinese-backed port could push the Amazon Rainforest over the edge

omg this is getting crazy what's next gonna happen to our planet i mean china's been expanding its influence everywhere and now they're doing it again in peru like whats up with that? 🤯

i'm all for economic growth but not at the expense of our environment we gotta think about the future and the ppl who'll be affected by these projects u know how some ppl just wanna make a quick buck without caring about the consequences it's super selfish i think governments should do more to regulate these projects so they don't hurt the planet too much
 
man this china-backed port thing in peru is like super worrying me you know its not just about the environment and stuff its about who gets to decide how things go down in these countries who gets to profit from all this growth and development its like we gotta think about the bigger picture here like what does it mean when a country prioritizes economic growth over environmental concerns it feels like were losing sight of whats really important like are we just gonna keep pushing forward no matter what the cost it feels like theres always gonna be someone who gets left behind
