A New Collector-Founded Fair, ENZO, Will Launch During L.A. Art Week

LA's thriving art scene is about to get a fresh face with the launch of ENZO, a boutique fair founded by collector R Parmar. Set to debut during L.A. Art Week in February, ENZO promises to shake up the traditional art fair experience by offering a free, invitation-only platform for galleries and artists.

Located in a 1920s warehouse in Echo Park, the inaugural edition of ENZO will bring together ten emerging galleries from New York's Chinatown and Lower East Side, providing a unique opportunity for West Coast collectors to engage with East Coast talent. The fair is part of a growing trend of smaller, more intimate art fairs that prioritize collaboration and experimentation over commercial interests.

ENZO's creator, Parmar, saw an opportunity to address the rising costs of participating in larger art fairs, which have led many galleries to reconsider their involvement. By removing financial risk, ENZO aims to encourage more ambitious and innovative presentations from its participants. The fair's 5,000-square-foot warehouse will host a diverse range of activities, including immersive installations, performance art, digital media, artist talks, and site-specific projects.

The lineup of participating galleries features a mix of well-established research-driven spaces and lesser-known groups, all eager to showcase their talents in this new platform. With a focus on creating an intimate and personal experience, ENZO seeks to bring the East Coast gallery scene closer to Los Angeles, providing Angelenos with access to a distinct New York art ecosystem.

ENZO joins a growing constellation of satellite fairs and happenings during L.A. Art Week, which will also include Frieze Los Angeles and Post-Fair. Despite the challenges facing galleries on the West Coast, ENZO offers a fresh perspective on the traditional art fair format, one that prioritizes collaboration and innovation over commercial interests.

As the art world continues to evolve, events like ENZO are poised to play a significant role in shaping its future. With its unique approach and commitment to supporting emerging talent, this new fair is sure to make waves in the L.A. art scene.

πŸ€” just read about enzo art fair and think it's gonna be lit πŸ’₯ free invitation-only thingy sounds awesome, love that they're shakin' things up with smaller fairs instead of huge commercial ones... all that costs and stress can be so draining for galleries πŸ™„ anyway, super stoked to see what kind of weird & wonderful art they'll have on show πŸ‘€ 10 emerging galleries from NYC's chinatown? that's a nice touch πŸ“ and all the activities sounds like a total blast πŸŽ‰ immersive installations, performance art... can't wait! πŸ’–

OMG you guys!! 🀯 I am SO stoked for LA's thriving art scene right now!!! ENZO is like, the ultimate game-changer for our city! I mean, can you even imagine getting to experience this amazing collection of East Coast galleries in a FREE, invite-only setting? It's like, the ultimate opportunity for us West Coasters to get in on some serious NYC flavor! πŸ’₯

And let's be real, the cost of art fairs is just, like, totally out of control right now. I mean, galleries are basically getting held hostage by the big boys, and it's like, super limiting for all the talented up-and-comers out there. But ENZO is like, the solution to that problem! By removing financial risk, they're making it possible for all these amazing artists and galleries to shine without breaking the bank.

I am literally counting down the days until L.A. Art Week in February. I need to get myself to that warehouse ASAP and experience this magic for myself! πŸš€ It's like, the art world is finally starting to listen to its people (aka collectors, artists, and curators) and say, "Hey, let's make this more about collaboration and innovation than just about making a buck." πŸ’–

aww man πŸ€— i'm so excited for LA's art scene! it's about time we get some fresh faces around here 🎨. enzo sounds like a game changer, offering a platform for galleries and artists to connect without all the drama of commercial art fairs πŸ™…β€β™€οΈ. i love that they're prioritizing collaboration and experimentation over big bucks πŸ’Έ. it's gonna be so cool to see what kind of crazy, innovative stuff comes out of this! can't wait to check it out in february 😎

omg just saw that enzo is coming to la πŸŽ‰ i think it's so cool that they're offering a free platform for galleries & artists to collaborate, its like a breath of fresh air after all those big commercial fairs. and yeah, the east coast colls getting their own spot in los angeles is a great idea too, it'll be awesome to see what kind of interesting things come out of that. also love that the warehouse space can host so many different activities 🌟 like immersive installations & performance art, its gonna be lit πŸ’ƒ

I'm stoked about this new development in LA's art scene 🎨πŸ’₯. It sounds like ENZO is gonna shake things up by offering a more intimate experience for collectors and artists alike. The idea of free, invitation-only events that focus on collaboration and experimentation rather than just making a quick buck is really refreshing. And hey, who doesn't love the idea of getting to explore some amazing art and connect with East Coast talent in a whole new way? πŸŒ†

ENZO is gonna be lit πŸŽ‰! I'm hyped about the whole East Coast galleries thing, it's time for us to see what all the fuss is about on the other side of the country. The warehouse location in Echo Park sounds fire πŸ”₯, can't wait to check out some immersive installations and performance art. Gotta love that they're prioritizing collaboration over commercial interests - it's refreshing to see something different from the usual art fair vibe. And 5,000 square feet is a lot of space for all that creative energy 🌟... this is gonna be one sick event! πŸ‘

OMG, this is so lit!!! πŸŽ‰ A free, invite-only art fair? That's like, totally game-changing! I mean, who needs expensive tickets or hefty commissions when you can just vibe with some dope galleries and artists? πŸ’₯ And the fact that they're bringing in East Coast talent to LA is gonna be AMAZING! Can't wait to check it out and see what kinda magic happens πŸŽ¨πŸ’«

I think it's dope that LA is getting an invite-only art fair πŸ€”. Gotta love how ENZO is trying to mix things up by ditching the commercial vibes and giving a platform for galleries & artists to get creative πŸ’‘. It's cool they're teaming up with NYC galleries to bring some East Coast flavor to LA 🌴. But, I'm curious - will it be too exclusive for the local art scene? Shouldn't everyone have access to these types of events regardless of who you know or how much money you make πŸ’Έ?

I'm low-key excited about ENZO! It's gonna be awesome having those East Coast galleries bring some fresh vibes to our scene. I mean, who doesn't love a good ol' fashioned art party πŸŽ‰? But seriously, it's cool that they're trying to shake things up and make the whole experience more intimate and experimental. Less commercial, more creative – I'm all for it! I just hope they keep the ticket prices chill (get it? like tickets? ah nevermind). Seriously though, ENZO is gonna be lit! πŸ’₯

πŸ€” just think about it, more space for artists to experiment & take risks without all the $$$ pressure πŸ€‘ then we might get some real innovation in that LA art scene... less emphasis on what's gonna sell and more on what's cool πŸ‘

Art fairs just getting more expensive, now they want us to pay for invitations πŸ€‘. And what's with all these "satellite fairs" and "happenings"? Just more ways to nickel-and-dime collectors, if you ask me πŸ˜’. 5k square feet of warehouse space is a lot, but I bet it'll just be empty stalls selling overpriced art to people who don't know any better πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. LA's already got too many galleries, we need more affordable spaces for artists to showcase their work, not these fancy-schmancy fairs that only cater to the elite πŸ’Έ.

πŸ€” I'm low-key hyped about ENZO, it's gonna be interesting to see how they shake up the traditional art fair vibe πŸŽ¨πŸ’Ό. I mean, who doesn't love a good free event? 😊 But seriously, it's awesome that R Parmar is giving galleries and artists a break from the usual commercial pressure πŸ’Έ. It'll be cool to see what kind of innovative stuff comes out of this space 🀩. And the fact that they're highlighting those lesser-known groups from the East Coast is a major win for the community πŸ‘. Bring on February and let's get ready to explore some new art faves!

I gotta say, this ENZO thing is all about disrupting the status quo in the art world... you know what I mean? 🀯 They're taking away that financial risk for galleries and artists, so they can focus on creating something truly innovative and collaborative. It's like, what if we changed the game from just selling art to actually sharing ideas and experiences? πŸ’‘ And that's exactly what ENZO is doing – it's all about bringing people together, both physically and digitally, to create something new and exciting. The line-up sounds amazing too, I'm all about discovering fresh talent and seeing what happens when East meets West 🌎πŸ’₯

I'm so stoked about this new art fair in LA! πŸŽ‰ It's like, really refreshing to see something that's all about collaboration and experimentation instead of just being a big commercial event. And the fact that it's invitation-only and free for galleries and artists is genius! πŸ‘ I mean, who wouldn't want to try out some cool new art projects without having to worry about breaking the bank? πŸ’Έ Plus, bringing together galleries from NYC and LA is gonna be lit – can't wait to see what all the East Coast talent has to offer. 😎 And with immersive installations, performance art, and site-specific projects, it's like they're saying let's get weird and creative in here! 🀯 This ENZO thing is def gonna shake up the L.A. art scene for the better! πŸ’₯

I'm loving the sound of this! It's about time we shake things up in LA's art scene 🀩. I mean, who needs a huge commercial space when you can have an intimate and personal experience? The idea of galleries from NY's Chinatown and Lower East Side coming to LA is genius πŸ—ΊοΈ. And 5,000 sq ft of warehouse space for immersive installations and performance art? Yes please! πŸ‘ Let's see how ENZO shakes things up during L.A. Art Week in Feb...

Ugh, I'm so sick of these exclusive invite-only events 🀯... I mean, who can even get invited to something that's not open to the public? And a 5,000 sq ft warehouse just for galleries and artists from NY?! Sounds like a total bubble to me πŸ™„. I'm all about diversity and accessibility in art fairs, but this sounds like more of the same elitist nonsense πŸ˜’. Plus, it's another expensive event that's gonna price out all the up-and-coming talent... just another way for the "in crowd" to stay in πŸ‘€

man i'm so down for enzo! 🀩 it's about time we have an art fair that prioritizes collaboration and experimentation over just making a bunch of cash. it's getting harder for galleries to afford participating in those huge fairs, so this is a breath of fresh air. i love the idea of having these emerging galleries from NY come out to LA - it's gonna be awesome to see what they bring to the table. 🎨 and 5k sq ft warehouse? that's like, so much space for all kinds of cool stuff! can't wait to check it out in feb πŸ’ͺ

πŸ€” I'm low-key excited about ENZO! The whole free, invite-only thing sounds like a breath of fresh air for galleries and collectors alike. It's great that they're focusing on collaboration and experimentation over just commercializing the space πŸŽ¨πŸ’Έ. With the cost of participating in larger fairs becoming too steep, it's refreshing to see someone addressing those issues πŸ‘. The lineup looks super promising, especially with all these emerging galleries from New York coming to LA πŸ—½οΈ. It'll be cool to see what kind of creative stuff they bring to the table πŸŽ‰. Can't wait for L.A. Art Week in February! πŸ’₯
