u know what's crazy? I went beachin with my fam last year when the surf was like, super gnarly too... 8-9 ft waves were breakin everywhere! 
we thought it was gonna be all fun and games but then we got caught in this rip current and had to paddle like mad to get back to shore. Luckily, we made it out alive 
. after that I'm super extra cautious when it comes to beach trips during high tide. i mean, yeah the weather's supposed to be mellow today but those sneaker waves can sneak up on u at any time... just saying 
! I mean, who wants to get all excited for a day out when you gotta worry about getting swept away by those gnarly waves? Strong rip currents and sneaker waves are like the ultimate party crashers - not welcome!
