Actress Tara Reid Accuses Rosemont Hotel of Drugging Her: Investigation Underway

Actress Tara Reid has come forward alleging that she was drugged at a hotel bar in Rosemont, Illinois. The incident allegedly took place on Sunday morning when Reid, 50, claimed to have been served a drink with an unknown substance without her knowledge or consent.

According to police reports and Reid's own account, the incident began when she visited the DoubleTree hotel around midnight to grab a cigarette and drink from the bar. While in the lobby, she allegedly encountered several YouTubers, which led her to return to the bar area. However, upon returning to her drink, she found a napkin covering her glass, an action she couldn't recall having done.

As Reid downed more of the drink, she became severely ill and was subsequently hospitalized for treatment. Following her release from the hospital, Reid attended a fan event where she urged caution among fans, reminding everyone to always watch their drinks and never leave them unattended.

In a statement released through E!, Reid's representatives expressed concern for her well-being during this "traumatic" time, while also emphasizing the importance of being vigilant when consuming beverages. The Rosemont Public Safety Department has launched an investigation into the incident, with the intention of gathering as much video surveillance footage from the hotel as possible.

Reid will not be making any further comments on the matter at present.
