‘Amorous’ couple caught on camera having sex in Arizona eatery before robbing it: cops

Bizarre Arizona Restaurant Heist Caught on Camera: A Tale of Lust and Theft

A pair of love-struck thieves, Corrisa Sucanick and Brian Morrow, left a trail of destruction and seduction in their wake after breaking into Mon Cheri Restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. The unlikely duo's ill-fated heist took an unexpected turn when they were caught on security camera engaging in intimate activities among the rose-themed decorations.

According to police reports, Sucanick, 30, and Morrow, 39, breached the restaurant around 3:50 a.m. on October 25, making off with $450 in cash, an iPhone 5, and a bottle of Bacardi rum. However, it was their illicit tryst that would become the most memorable aspect of the crime.

The couple's steamy encounter, which took place amidst the floral arrangements near the outdoor patio, left witnesses and authorities aghast. The restaurant owner, Lexi Caliskan, described the scene as "kind of romantic but modern-day Bonnie and Clyde."

While Sucanick and Morrow were arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, they won't face charges for their alleged "amorous activities" – the intimate encounter caught on camera by surveillance footage. Authorities stated that since the act did not meet the criteria for criminal charges, neither suspect would be booked for it.

The pair was eventually apprehended, with Sucanick cuffed at the Maricopa County jail on November 3 and Morrow busted at a Phoenix hotel the next day. Both were charged with possession of burglary tools in addition to their initial theft charges.

In a bizarre twist, Sucanick and Morrow's illicit tryst has taken on a life of its own, with the restaurant posting surveillance video of the crime on social media and asking followers to help identify the brazen couple.

omg, i cant believe this... 😂🤦‍♀️ they're like the ultimate lotharios and lol at first i was thinking it was gonna be some super intense drama but nope, its just a couple being reckless and stupid 🙄. i mean, they broke into a restaurant and stole some stuff, thats not cool, but come on... 😉 who does that? and now they're getting all kinds of attention from the whole world 🤯. i feel kinda bad for them, they seem like they were just caught up in the moment and didnt think things through, but still, gotta respect their dedication to each other 💕.

omg this is wild 🤯 they broke into someones restaurant at 3:50 am thinking about having a romantic fling? like what's next gonna steal some hearts and get caught? i'm still trying to process how this went from heist to rom-com... i mean who does that? 😂 and can we talk about the rose decorations tho? 🌹 they're literally being used as a backdrop for their drama 💁‍♀️

this is just so weird... i dont get why they had to do it in public tho 🤷‍♀️🔥, like, cant they just chill in private? and $450 isnt even that much money, its just crazy how one bad decision can lead to a whole mess of trouble 🤑🚨

🤦‍♂️ can you believe these two are literally making headlines for being so extra?! I mean, who breaks into a restaurant just to get caught up in some romance? 🙄 it's like they wanted to be on the news for all the wrong reasons! 😂 I'm still trying to wrap my head around why they thought this was a good idea. And honestly, I feel kinda bad for Lexi Caliskan, the owner of Mon Cheri Restaurant. She must've been mortified when she saw what happened. 🤯

But, at the same time, I gotta give these two some props – their love is REAL! 💕 Even if it's in a super awkward and not-so-romantic way. And I'm still laughing about how they thought they could get away with everything... and then just got caught on camera doing... you know 🤣. It's like they wanted the spotlight, but didn't realize how bright it would shine! 🔥

Can you believe this? They're like something out of a movie! I mean, who tries to pull off a heist and gets caught in the act... being all lovey-dovey with each other? It's crazy, right? 🤯 Like, what were they thinking? And the security footage is just wild - it's like you're watching a scene from a rom-com or something. I'm surprised the owners of the restaurant didn't try to capitalize on the whole thing and start selling merchandise or something. It's definitely got everyone talking, though. And I have to ask, what was that all about? Were they just in love with the thrill of it all or what? 😂

omg u guys i cant even lol so i was watching this vid of the thieves who broke into that restaurant in arizona and it got caught on camera but like the craziest part is they were caught doing THE DOWNTOWN THING 🤣 near the rose decorations outside and its literally like they thought no one would know bc its a private moment lol i was watching the vid and my boyfriend walked by and he just died laughing when he saw it and i was like "gurl what r u even thinking" 💁‍♀️ anyway i'm lowkey glad they got caught cuz i don't think anyone else should be having wild times in restaurants 🤣

I mean, can you even believe this? Like, they're stealing from a restaurant and then have a romantic moment amidst all the rose decorations 🤷‍♀️😂. It's like they wanted that Instagram-worthy pic to go viral or something 📸👀. And the fact that the owner is downplaying it by comparing them to Bonnie and Clyde is just funny 😂. I don't know if I'd want to eat at a place with this kind of history, but hey, at least they're making my day 💁‍♀️😂. What's next, a crime spree followed by a reality TV show? 🤣

OMG 😱 this is just wild. I mean, you'd think that when it comes to heists, people would keep their wits about them but these two are like something out of a rom-com 🍿😂. Like, who steals $450 and then gets caught up in the moment? 🤷‍♀️ I guess some people just can't help themselves, especially when there's wine involved 😂. The fact that they got caught on camera doing... well, whatever it is they were doing *wink* is just too much for me. It's like they wanted to be famous or something 📺. I hope they get the help they need and turn their lives around 🌈💖

I'm totally speechless 😲, I mean what's next? A heist just to get some alone time 🤯?! These two lovebirds must have been really desperate or really passionate (or both) because, let's be real, there are better ways to spice up a relationship than stealing from someone else 💁‍♀️. The fact that the security footage was caught and shared on social media is just wild 📹. I'm not sure if I should be laughing or cringing at this one 😂👀.

💔 "The line between right and wrong is not always clear." 🤷‍♂️ Sometimes, our actions are driven by emotions rather than reason. It's a shame that Sucanick and Morrow let their lust get the best of them. 🙅‍♀️ At least they got caught, and now they're facing the consequences. You can't escape your past forever! 💥

Umm... I think it's kinda weird that they got caught but like, I'm also kinda jealous? 😂 Like, who gets to be in a romantic situation like that in a public place? But at the same time, I mean, shouldn't they just have thought of, like, not stealing from a restaurant and stuff? 🤷‍♂️ And the fact that they got off scot-free for the "amorous activities" part is just... sus. Like, how does that even work? 🙄 Anyway, I guess it's all just a bit too extra for my taste. 💁‍♀️

I mean can you believe this guy Brian Morrow was so caught up in his lust he didn't even think about leaving a forwarding address for the girl 😂? Like what's next, paying with love letters? The whole thing sounds kinda cringeworthy but at the same time... I guess it's gotta be weird to stumble upon some thieves getting all cozy on camera 🤯. And the fact that they just waltz in and out without even realizing their intimate moment is gonna end up on a social media video? That's just basic thief etiquette right there 👀.

🤷‍♂️ I mean, can you even believe this? A couple breaks into a restaurant for cash and ends up getting caught on camera doing... well, whatever they were doing 😳. It's like they said "you know what, let's just make this whole heist thing memorable" 🙄. And now the restaurant is basically famous because of it 😂. I guess you could say it was a really romantic (if not a bit reckless) way to get caught? 🤗 The owners are almost trying to be funny about it, but at the same time, can you blame them for being shocked? 😱. Who needs reality TV when you've got this kind of drama playing out in real life? 📺

lol what can u say about this crazy Arizona love affair gone wrong? I mean, who breaks into a restaurant to steal some cash & iPhone but ends up having a hot & steamy moment with their partner in crime? 🤣👀 it's like they were trying to recreate that epic rom-com scene from "When Harry Met Sally"... minus the happy ending. The fact that the owners of Mon Cheri Restaurant are now turning this whole thing into a social media sensation is just too extra for me. I think they should just let the lovebirds ride off into the sunset... or at least get a reality show out of it 🤪💕

🤣 OMG, can you even imagine walking into a job interview or meeting your future partner with that kind of baggage 🤦‍♀️? I mean, who does something so crazy in broad daylight, only to get caught on camera and have it become the main event? It's like they say, don't commit crimes... unless you want a viral social media sensation 😂. On a serious note, what's with the "amorous activities" exception from criminal charges? It's just gonna create more confusion and weirdness in the justice system 🤷‍♀️.

omg this is like something out of a rom-com 🤣 but no I'm seriously shook that these two were caught making out in a rose garden while trying to steal from a restaurant lol what's next? are they gonna start a foodie blog or something? 🍴💕 also can we just talk about how surreal it is that the cops are like "yeah this isn't a crime but also we're not gonna book you for it" 😂 sounds like a real cop-out to me

omg what's up with this couple tho? 🤷‍♀️ they're like literally stealing from this place and then getting all intimate in there... i don't get it, like they must've been expecting some kinda reward or something?

and can we talk about the fact that they got caught on camera doing the deed?! 📹 that's just wild. i guess you could say they left a trail of destruction, but also... romance? idk man, i'm both fascinated and appalled at the same time.

anywayz, i think it's kinda cool that the restaurant is sharing the footage online now. like, it's definitely some drama, but it's also super relatable when you think about it - we've all had those moments where we just let go and live in the moment, right?

but for real tho, let's get back to the thieves. i mean, $450 is a pretty modest amount of cash... wouldn't they have thought twice before going through with the heist if they knew they'd be getting caught on camera and all that?

I mean, can you even imagine walking into a scene like that? I'm talking about this Arizona restaurant heist where these two love-struck thieves get caught in the act 🤯. The whole thing is just wild - they're stealing cash and stuff, but then they're like "oh, let's have some fun" and do their thing among the rose decorations 💘.

I don't know what's more surprising, the fact that they got away with it for so long or that they were caught on camera doing...that 📹. And can you blame them? It's a pretty romantic setup, I guess. But at the same time, it's just weird. Like, who breaks into someone's restaurant and then expects to have a good time amidst all the rose petals and whatnot?

And the fact that they didn't get charged with anything else is just crazy 🤯. I mean, it's not like it's a typical "romantic getaway" or something. It's still theft, after all 😂. But hey, I guess you can't put a price on love, right?

🤣 OMG, can you even imagine walking into your workplace one morning and finding this?! Like, who steals from someone and then just... gets caught up in the moment? 😂 I mean, I guess you could say they were a little "lovestruck" (see what I did there? 😜). Anyway, it's wild how some people can turn a potential heist into a scene straight out of a rom-com. And poor Lexi Caliskan, she must have been like "um, thanks for the free entertainment?" 🤷‍♀️ The fact that they got caught on camera doing the deed is just... wow. I guess you could say their little tryst has become a social media sensation? 📹
