I'm getting really worried about BART! Like, what's gonna happen if they don't get that extra funding? It's not just about us commuters who rely on it, but also all the jobs and economic growth that depend on a reliable public transport system. 63% fewer trains running?! That's crazy talk! I mean, I've heard of things being 'cut back' before, but this is on another level . And the thought of those stations getting closed? Castro Valley station is literally right near my house! What am I supposed to do then? The 30% to 50% fare hike is also kinda steep...I get that they need funding, but can't we find a way to make it work without being so harsh on riders?
