British playwright Tom Stoppard, who won Academy Award for 'Shakespeare In Love,' dies at 88

OMG u guyz 🀯, Tom Stoppard's passing is like, super sad πŸ˜”... I mean, the dude was a genius, right? Like, his plays were so deep & witty, it's crazy he's gone πŸ’‘. I'm not gonna lie, I've seen "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" (like, 3 times 🀣) and just can't get enough of that absurd humor πŸ˜‚. And have u seen his film scripts? "Brazil" is like, a cult classic in my opinion πŸ‘. Anyway, RIP Tom Stoppard, ur legacy will live on through ur amazing works πŸ’–... may u be able to appreciate the meaning behind "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead"... again πŸ˜‚!

man, 88 is old for a genius like tom stoppard 🀯 he left behind some truly iconic works that still hold up today, you know like "rosencrantz and guildenstern are dead" - that play is a masterclass in absurdist storytelling πŸ“š his ability to balance intellectual curiosity with emotional depth was unmatched, and it's no surprise he won so many awards πŸ’ͺ i mean, have you seen his film screenplays? "brazil", "empire of the sun", "shakespeare in love" are all classics πŸŽ₯ and let's not forget about "leopoldstadt" - that play is a powerful exploration of identity and family history 🀝 anyway, it's sad to see him go, but his legacy will live on through his work πŸ’«

πŸ€•πŸ˜’ What a sad day for theatre fans everywhere... 88 is young for an old soul like Tom Stoppard, lol. I mean, have you seen "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" - that play alone should be required reading in school πŸ“š. He's definitely one of the greatest British playwrights of his generation, no question. And can we talk about how versatile he was? From theatre to film, radio plays... the man was a genius ✨. His ability to balance intellectual curiosity with emotional depth is something we could all learn from 🀝. I'm so grateful for the work he left behind - it's going to take a while to process his passing 😒

I think he was too young to go... I mean, 88 is really old πŸ€”. He had so many amazing works out there, like "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" - that play is so mind-blowing, but at the same time, it's also kinda... confusing? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Like, I get why he wrote it, but sometimes I just can't keep up with all his cleverness πŸ˜….

I'm actually kinda sad that we won't see any new plays from him anymore, 'cause I think he had a lot more to say... or maybe not? πŸ€” It's weird, because some people are already saying how much of an impact he'll have on the literary world, but at the same time, I'm like, "Dude was 88, what did you expect?" πŸ˜‚.

πŸ˜” another legend bites the dust... 88's a good run i guess but still can't help feelin' like we're losin' somethin' special when these icons pass 🀯 tom stoppard was def one of the greats, been enjoyin' his stuff since i was a kid, and now he's just gone πŸ’” his plays always felt so smart and funny at the same time, like he was speakin' straight to me even when i didn't know what that meant πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ and all those awards and accolades are just the icing on the cake - the real legacy is in the stuff he left us 😒 anyway, can never have too many tom stoppard plays in my book πŸ“š

omg just heard about tom stoppard 🀯 i had english lit in school last year and we studied some of his plays like rosenkrantz and guildenstern are dead and it blew my mind he's so influential lol i wish our teacher did more than just read the plays from a book he should've taken us to see them live haha anyway, i feel bad for him but at least his legacy is gonna live on forever πŸ’•
