Bundee Aki's story is defo an inspiration. From bank teller to rugby legend. I mean, he put his dreams on hold for life in NZ but then got that chance to come back to the sport and boy did he seize it! It's not just about him tho, all the coaches & teammates who believed in him too. Pat Lam at Connacht was key in helping him get his international career off the ground
I'm low-key impressed by Bundee Aki's story He went from being a bank teller in NZ to a centre for Ireland & British Lions! That's like, a whole different life But I guess hard work & determination can take you far And let's be real, he still has so much more to give ...the 2027 Rugby World Cup is just around the corner Can't wait to see him slay on the pitch
He literally went from being a bank teller in NZ to playing rugby for Ireland, it's wild I mean, what if he never got that message from Tana Umaga? Would he even be there today
