Camp Pendleton Marines begin huge training exercise Monday in California and Arizona

idk why we need all these big drills 🤔💪 like Steel Knight every year its just gonna be more noise pollution & traffic congestion for those living near Camp Pendleton 😒 i mean whats the point of certifying readiness if u can't even get it right in a small exercise lol? also why australia is so important rn it feels like us trying 2 prove something 🤷‍♂️

I'm not super stoked about these large scale drills 🤔. I mean, don't get me wrong, safety and all that's good, but have you seen the environmental impact those exercises can have? All that equipment being transported, fuel being burned... it's like, we're already dealing with some pretty big issues when it comes to climate change, and then we go and add these massive drills on top of it 🌎💨. And what about the local communities? I've heard some people in San Diego complaining about the noise and disruption caused by all the activity 🗣️. Can't they just find ways to do this stuff without causing so much chaos? 🤷‍♀️

omg i just saw that video of the fireworks display at new years and it was SO COOL 🎊🔥 i dont really get why people are so obsessed with learning a new language though, like whats the point of being able to speak fluent english if u still cant order food in a restaurant without making a mistake? 😂 anyway back to this steel knight thingy... im kinda worried about all the noise and commotion gonna disrupt my online gaming sessions 🤖😴 is australia really that close to california though? like, how long does it take to get there by plane or something?

Ugh, another massive drill that's just gonna make it harder for people to live in San Diego without being bothered by all these noisy Marines and Navy folks... I mean, what's the point of even having a two-week exercise if it's just gonna be all about showing off their gear and making a racket? And don't even get me started on the "necessary precautions" - yeah right, like that's ever gonna happen. They'll probably just push everyone outta their way and make a mess wherever they go 🤦‍♂️.

I'm not sure about the scale of the Steel Knight exercise, but 3-4 thousand troops showing up might be a lot for North County San Diego 🤔. I mean, they'll have Navy air-and-ground forces participating too, which is awesome, but you gotta consider the locals who'll be living and working nearby. How are they gonna manage traffic and stuff? 🚗

Also, 5th Marine Regiment being in Darwin for six months sounds like a big commitment. Are they doing some kind of long-term training or just preparing for a potential deployment? 💡 We need to know more about the specifics.

omg steel knight sounds like an epic drill! 🤯 i mean who wouldn't want to see thousands of marines getting ready for deployment? 😂 it's all about that team spirit and readiness you know? 💪 they're gonna be testing out those assault combat vehicles and working with navy air and ground forces - talk about coordination skills! 👥 plus it's awesome to see the us and australia partnering up on this level. 🤝 and 6 months of crisis response in darwin sounds like a serious business. we need all hands on deck when it comes to keeping those regions safe 😊
