Celebrity Traitors star Joe Marler squares up to Nick Mohammed: best podcasts of the week

Joe Marler's Celebrity Traitors Podcast Takes Aim at Nick Mohammed, But Not Without a Few Visual Faux Pas.

This week on Joe Marler's popular podcast Celebrity Traitors, the former rugby player and celebrity guest turned analyst puts his pseudopsychology skills to the test in a hilarious interview with comedian Nick Mohammed. The chemistry between them is undeniable, but not everyone can appreciate the show's visual elements – namely those six minutes of slapstick humor that didn't translate well on audio.

Meanwhile, Defiant listeners are in for a treat as former marine Eric Morante recounts his remarkable story of becoming an amputee boxer and competing in a prestigious tournament. Morante shares the traumatic event that took him out of the competition, but it's not just about the physical injury – there's also a deeper exploration of the human cost of ambition.

The Rest Is Science is another show to watch this week, with Prof Hannah Fry and YouTuber Michael Stevens bringing their unique blend of wit and knowledge to the table. They explore some pretty big questions, like whether ice can be considered a mineral or if water is actually lava – but let's just say it's not exactly rigorous scientific inquiry.

In Deep Water, travel writer Lydia Gard takes an immersive dive into the world of freediving, where divers push themselves (and their limits) to experience that elusive "peace at depth." It's a gripping exploration of the human spirit and the darker side of competition.

Last but certainly not least, Hope on Repeat is a podcast series that might just change your perspective on music. Launched by the United Nations Refugee Agency, this show features refugees sharing their stories through song – from an Afghan ultramarathon runner to a Syria-born dancer, each one offers a unique glimpse into the human experience during times of displacement and turmoil.

So I watched this podcast episode with Joe Marler and Nick Mohammed and it was pretty funny, but also kinda weird when it came to the visuals 🤣. Six minutes of just slapstick humor that didn't really translate on audio... it felt like they were trying too hard to be funny. But hey, some people might enjoy that kind of stuff.

I did love Eric Morante's story though - becoming an amputee boxer and competing in a tournament? That's insane! And I can see why the show wanted to explore the human cost of ambition. It's not just about the physical injury, it's about what drives us to push ourselves to be better.

The Rest Is Science, huh? Sounds like some wild stuff 🤪. Prof Hannah Fry and Michael Stevens seem like a funny duo, but I'm not sure if their jokes are meant to be scientific or just plain old comedy.

Hope on Repeat is actually pretty powerful though - listening to refugees share their stories through song is so moving 😭. It's like you're right there with them, feeling all the emotions.

omg u gotta tune in 2 Celebrity Traitors with Joe Marler rn he's killin' it w/ his podcast 🤣! but seriously, the chemistry between him & Nick Mohammed is on point. tho i did find some parts w/ visual elements 2 be kinda cringeworthy lol. i mean who thought those slapstick skits were a good idea? 😂 still lovin this show tho!

i also wanna give a shoutout 2 Eric Morante's story in Celebrity Traitors - it's so inspiring & emotional 🙏. becoming an amputee boxer & competing in a tournament is def not easy, but he's got the heart of a warrior 💪.

The Rest Is Science w/ Prof Hannah Fry & Michael Stevens tho... 🤦‍♀️ let's just say it's more fun 2 make fun of 😂. but hey, at least they're tryin' right?

anyway, Hope on Repeat is actually pretty amazing 🌎. those refugee stories thru song r honestly life-changing ❤️. u gotta listen 2 this one! 👂

🤔 I mean, think about it, podcasts are like these little moments of introspection in our crazy busy lives, right? They're like this tiny window of depth we can gaze into when no one's watching 😊. But what's wild is how some people get caught up in the production value and forget that the real power lies in the conversations themselves. Like, I watched an interview with Nick Mohammed on Celebrity Traitors and it was hilarious, but then someone pointed out those six minutes of slapstick humor didn't quite translate... it made me think about how our perceptions can be distorted by external factors 📺. It's like, can we truly connect with each other if we're not even paying attention to the things that matter? 💭

omg i loved hope on repeat 🤩 it's so powerful listening to these refugees share their stories through music 🎶 i felt like i was right there with them, you know? it's amazing how something as simple as a song can transport us to another world and help us understand what others are going through. and the fact that it's from the UN Refugee Agency makes it even more impactful 💖 i'm def gonna be tuning in to this one again soon 📻

I'm loving the diversity of podcasts out there right now 🤩📻. It's great to see shows like Hope on Repeat using their platform to share the stories of refugees who've been displaced due to conflict or persecution. The idea that music can be such a powerful tool for healing and connection is really inspiring 💖. But, gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed in The Rest Is Science 🤔. I mean, how can you call something "rigorous scientific inquiry" when it's basically just a bunch of fun facts about ice and water being called lava? 😂 Come on, guys! Be more than just entertaining, bring the real science to the table 💡.

idk about the Celebrity Traitors Podcast lol it sounds kinda entertaining but i gotta say that 6 minutes of slapstick humor didn't translate well on audio 🤣📺 meanwhile Defiant listeners are in for a treat with Eric Morante's story of becoming an amputee boxer and competing in a prestigious tournament that's pretty inspiring 💪

I'm still trying to wrap my head around The Rest Is Science 🤔... I mean, ice can't be considered a mineral? 😂 Isn't that just basic geology 101? And Prof Fry and Michael Stevens are supposed to be experts, right? 🙄 It's okay, though - at least it's entertaining. By the way, did you know that Hannah Fry actually worked on a top-secret project for NASA? Maybe she should've fact-checked their ice claim before sharing it with us 😜

OMG u guys I just listened to this podcast Hope on Repeat & I'm literally emotional 🤯 it's so beautiful to hear these refugees share their stories through music...I mean what even is a refugee story, right? 💔 it's not like they're telling you about some far-off land that doesn't exist anymore. It's them, it's us. We're all just trying to survive and make sense of this crazy world. 🌎 I loved the part where this Afghan runner talks about how music is what keeps him going even when everything else feels impossible. Like, can we just put a medal around his neck already? 🏅 seriously though, it's not all rainbows and unicorns out there. It's real, it's hard, but that's what makes these stories so powerful. We need more of this kind of stuff in the world...anyway, I'm off to listen to some more Hope on Repeat podcasts 🎧

🤔 I'm loving these new podcast series on The Celebrity Traitors channel! 🎙️ While some of the shows can be a bit hit or miss (like that episode with Prof Hannah Fry - was she really saying water is lava? 😂) it's amazing to see so many unique voices and perspectives being shared. And I gotta say, Eric Morante's story is super inspiring - becoming an amputee boxer is no easy feat, and it's awesome that he's using his platform to raise awareness about the human cost of ambition. 🙌 But let's give a shoutout to Hope on Repeat too! 💖 Those refugee stories are truly life-changing and I'm all about spreading more love and positivity through music ❤️ #PodcastLove #HopeOnRepeat #ResilienceMatters

Wow 🤯, I'm so down for shows like Celebrity Traitors where celebrities let loose on each other - it's always good for some laughs! 🤣 Interesting how The Rest Is Science doesn't exactly deliver on its promise of scientific rigor... still fun to listen to tho 😊.

I gotta say, I'm loving the diversity on Celebrity Traitors lately 🤩! Joe Marler's always been good at getting interesting guests, but this week's lineup is straight fire 🔥. I mean, who wouldn't want to listen to a former marine turned boxer share their traumatic story? Eric Morante's bravery is truly inspiring 💪. And can we talk about the chemistry between him and Nick Mohammed? It's like they're old pals 🤣. The only thing that bugged me was those six minutes of slapstick humor – I had no idea it wasn't translated well on audio 😂. Anyway, I'm defo tuning in to more episodes! 👍

🤷‍♂️ Podcasts are all about vibe, and Celebrity Traitors is def on point. Morante's story tho 🙏... just watching that kinda resilience gives me chills 🌊. Rest Is Science needs to step up the science game tho 🔬, not sure if "lava water" is a real thing 😂. Freediving is straight fire though 💦, and refugees sharing their stories through music? Pure hope 💖.

😊 "The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams." Don't get me wrong, Celebrity Traitors had some laughs but that slapstick humor was cringe-worthy 🤣. But at the same time, I loved the raw emotion from Eric Morante's story - it really made me appreciate what we've got going on in our lives 💕.

idk about joe marler's podcast, feels like he's just trying to be funny instead of actually having meaningful conversations 🤔. i mean, six minutes of slapstick humor that didn't translate well on audio? not my cup of tea. but hey, if you're into that sorta thing, go for it! 😂 the other shows seem pretty interesting tho, especially hope on repeat - it's a great reminder that music can be such a powerful tool for connection and understanding 🎶.

I was listening to Celebrity Traitors the other day and I gotta say, Joe Marler's got some solid chemistry with his guests 🤔. But omg, what is up with those visual elements tho? 🙄 Like, six minutes of slapstick humor that just didn't translate on audio... it's like watching a cat try to play poker 😹.

On the flip side, I loved The Rest Is Science - Prof Hannah Fry and Michael Stevens are total comedic geniuses 👀. They're making complex science fun, but also kinda poking fun at themselves along the way. It's all good vibes 🌈.

I'm curious about Hope on Repeat, though. Listening to refugees share their stories through song is really powerful... it's like you can feel their emotions and hope through the music 🎶.

I'm kinda disappointed in The Rest Is Science tho 🤔. I mean, if they're gonna say ice is a mineral on live radio, shouldn't it be some actual scientific proof? Like, what's next? Saying the sky is plaid 🌅😂. But for real, Prof Fry and Michael Stevens are funny & smart, just don't expect too much from the science part 🤷‍♀️.

idk about joe marler's podcast, feels like he's more interested in being funny than actually having real conversations. and what's up with all these "traumatic event" stories? just put people through their paces and call it a day, you know? 🤔 also that ice/mineral thing on The Rest Is Science? lolol no thanks, sounds like a bunch of hooey to me...

OMG, what's up with The Rest Is Science tho? 🤯 I mean, ice as a mineral? Lava water? Come on, guys! You're trying to be funny but you're really just trolling science 🙄. And don't even get me started on the host's dry wit... I need a caffeine IV or something to keep up 😂.

ugh, i love how some podcasts just can't even be bothered with proper editing lol 🤣 so yeah, six minutes of slapstick humor that didn't translate well on audio? sounds like a real winner to me 😒 anyway, glad someone's sharing their inspiring story about being an amputee boxer though - i'm sure it's not easy to compete in a prestigious tournament and all that 💪 and hey, prof hannah fry and michael stevens might be fun to listen to if you're into a bit of witty banter 🤔 but maybe just stick to actual science books or something 😂
