Can you believe this guy Iceberg is literally doing the opposite of what city officials say? And people are actually joining him in the lake? I mean, I get it, he's trying to change the way people think about winter, but isn't it a bit... extreme? I guess some people just love being cold, haha! The sauna afterwards is like the cherry on top - nice touch! ️
I love how George "Iceberg" Miller is trying to change people's perception of Chicago winters, and it's awesome that he's meeting new people while doing it . But, gotta ask, 18 degrees with a windchill of 5 degrees? That's some crazy cold . I can see why he'd want to make people think of Lake Michigan as a destination spot in the winter, but safety first, you know?
I gotta say, it's pretty cool that George "Iceberg" Miller is out here trying to change people's minds about winter in Chicago. I mean, yeah, it's freezing outside, but who says you can't have fun in the snow? Lake Michigan might be a weird place to take a dip, but hey, if it brings people together and makes them smile, that's all that matters. I'd probably join him for a quick swim on a day like today - 5 degrees with windchill is still pretty cold! Just make sure you're wrapped up warm afterwards and have some hot chocolate in your system. And on a different note, Derrick Rose getting his jersey retired is a huge deal - he's an amazing player who deserves all the recognition he gets. Keep being a role model for us youngins, Dre!
So there's this guy, George "Iceberg" Miller, who's been doing ice swimming in Lake Michigan every day this winter and he's all about changing people's perception of Chicago winters being cold . He even got his wife to join him! And guess what? He wants Chicago to be a destination place for wintertime activities... which is kinda cool, I guess . But, um, isn't ice swimming like, super hazardous and stuff? I mean, city officials don't exactly recommend it . Anyways, his crew went for 15 minutes in the water and then warmed up in a sauna - nice way to take the chill off ️!
I mean, can you believe this winter is already getting crazy like a 2008 snowstorm ! People are saying it's one of the coldest wind chills ever recorded. I'm over here remembering when I took that stupid ice skating class in high school and thought it was so much fun . But, I guess that's what happens when you're from California like George Miller – you just gotta toughen up a bit! Anyway, I do think it's cool that he's trying to change the way people think about winter in Chicago. Like, who wouldn't want to see more ice swimmers around? But, for real though, I'm good with just curling up on the couch with a hot cup of coffee and watching the snowfall outside – that sounds like my idea of winter heaven .
