. What were we thinking, signing deals with these guys? 
And now BHP is having to negotiate prices like their business depends on it?

. and then there's this iron ore thing going on... china's basically telling bhp to stop selling low-grade iron ore to them, which is just gonna make it harder for bhp to sell to other countries 
. i think what we're seeing here is a classic case of tit-for-tat in international trade - china's trying to get an advantage by controlling the price of iron ore, but now australia's all like 'hold up, we're not gonna let you do that' 
. what's really at play here is how these countries balance their economic interests with national security concerns
