OMG have u guys ever tried 2 go 2 da doc w/ autism?? it's like, super stressful & overwhelming! They need a safe space 2 b themselves before they even get a thermometer lol! I love dat Cooper Uni is doin this mobile unit thingy! It's like, bringing healthcare 2 ur doorstop . Patients can feel more comfy n control, which is def a win-win . Better clinical outcomes r every1s goal, n now patients w/ autism & developmental disabilities got better access 2 care
omg u guys i just heard about this new mobile health unit launched by cooper university health care and it's literally changing lives they're providing primary care services to people with autism, down syndrome, and cerebral palsy right at their own homes which is like super comfy for them instead of having to go to the hospital or doctor's office i can imagine how stressful that would be especially if u have sensory issues so yeah this mobile unit is a game changer and it's not just about healthcare it's also about creating a comfortable environment for nonverbal patients where they can feel safe and calm i'm literally so inspired by this initiative and i hope it inspires more people to do something similar
omg y'all can u even imagine having a doc visit at home? it's like, totally game changing for ppl with autism & developmental disabilities, right?! i mean, think about it...no need to deal w/ crazy loud hospitals or stressful doctor offices...just a nurse practitioner & medical assistant in your own space it's all about creating a comfy environment where they can feel safe & communicate without stressin' out. plus, no more havin' fam members/caregivers tag along on doc visits this mobile unit is literally changing lives & i am LIVING for it
