I don't think the US government should use green gas on peaceful protesters like that's super aggressive . The agents were just trying to take a bathroom break, but they shouldn't have to deal with all that aggression from people who are just upset about immigration policies . It sounds like the court ruling was way too permissive for law enforcement . I'm glad the AG and Senator Klobuchar are speaking out against it though . We need to be careful with how we balance public safety and protecting people's rights to protest .
I'm really worried about the use of green gas by US Border Patrol agents in Minneapolis. It looks like they used it on peaceful protesters who were just trying to express their opinions . The fact that people are getting hurt and behaving aggressively is a big problem, but using chemical gases isn't the answer . We need to find ways to resolve conflicts without harming each other . This whole situation with Operation Metro Surge and restricted munitions is a bit confusing for me ... it seems like there's no clear plan in place to keep everyone safe .
omg u guys i'm sooo livid about this these border patrol agents are literally using green gas on ppl protesting and it's just not right i mean like what even is going on here? they're saying its to protect themselves but come on that's not a valid reason to use pepper spray or whatever on innocent people i'm lowkey worried about the long term implications of this whole thing too like how are we gonna fix this and make sure ppl aren't being harmed by the gov
Ugh, can you believe this? They're literally using green gas on people who are just trying to protest and make their voices heard! I mean, come on, protesters aren't hurting anyone, they're just exercising their right to free speech... or whatever it is the US government thinks it's doing these days. And what's with the whole "hostile crowds" thing? Sounds like a bunch of BS to me . I've seen some videos online and it looks like the agents are just trying to intimidate people, not protect themselves from any actual threats. This whole operation is just a disaster waiting to happen... or is that exactly what they're going for?
I'm so worried about this . It seems like the agents were totally justified but then again, using green gas on people is super scary . I mean, can't we just talk things out without resorting to that? The fact that the court ruled it was okay for them to use restricted munitions though is a whole different story . What's going on with these operation metro surge protests? Is anyone really thinking about the impact on our communities? We need to make sure that law enforcement and local communities are working together, not against each other . It's time to think outside the box and find solutions that work for everyone
