I think we need more transparency around how much of their fibre comes from ancient trees vs. waste products

. And what about those indigenous First Nations and their role in forestry decision-making? Are they being heard in the UK's environmental policy?
It's also worth noting that biomass energy isn't a silver bullet

. Burning imported biomass can still contribute to greenhouse gas emissions and undermine efforts to reduce our carbon footprint

I'm not convinced that the UK government is doing enough to prioritize reforestation over energy production

. They're investing billions in Drax Group while claiming to be global leaders on environmental protection

. It's time for a rethink and some serious scrutiny of their policies
