Scotland's Scottish Premiership and League 1 fixtures have been hit with a double postponement, as heavy rain caused several pitches to become waterlogged. The Dundee United v St Mirren match, scheduled for Saturday, has been called off due to the poor conditions at Tannadice Park.
Montrose FC has also postponed their fixture against Peterhead FC, citing that the pitch was deemed unfit for play at the Linksside Stadium. In response, Peterhead FC have appealed to other local teams, stating they would be happy to schedule a game at Garioch Sports Centre in Inverurie between 12pm and 1:30pm if there are any teams available.
The postponements come as heavy rain continues to affect the country, with several other matches already being called off this season. The Scottish FA has not yet announced an exact date for when these games will be rescheduled.
