... the mayor said something right though, we need to come together as a community and support each other, rather than letting one bad incident tear us apart

.. i think both sides need to take a deep breath and try to understand where each other is coming from... like, we get that the protesters are upset, but can't they see that the agents just wanna do their job? maybe there's a way to find a middle ground here? like, community events or dialogue groups to help people connect and build trust with law enforcement
