I've been watching these Manchester City games with my grandkids
and I gotta say, it's like they're trying to play a different style of football now. They seem more controlled but less aggressive than before. It's making me wonder if they're sacrificing Haaland's success for the sake of playing safe.
I mean, Haaland's always been a goal-scorer, but he needs space to operate. Those times when City used to push forward and create chaos on the pitch, that's when Haaland would thrive. Now it seems like teams are more prepared to counter-attack, so they're having to adapt their game plan.
As someone who's seen many football games over the years, I think City needs to find a balance between playing safe and creating opportunities for Haaland. Maybe they can use that quick counter-attack strategy a bit more often? It'd be nice to see him back in his element, scoring goals and making assists
