I feel so bad for Pablo and his fam gotta be super tough being a single dad on a tight budget. Like, I get it, uni life is expensive already but food pantry? That's just not what I'd call 'uni support' Don't get me wrong, I'm all for helping out, but shouldn't we be creating more opportunities for these students to succeed in the first place? Also, 45 years of a Share Your Holidays food drive? That's crazy! We should be doing more to address systemic issues and not just throwing money at problems
I'm so saddened to hear about Pablo and his family having to rely on a food pantry just to get by . It's devastating to think that something as basic as groceries is becoming a struggle for many students at the university . But you know what? I think it's amazing that organizations like the Cougar Cupboard and the Houston Food Bank are stepping up to help out in such a big way . And kudos to ABC13 for running their Share Your Holidays food drive for 45 years - that's dedication! Now, let's all do our part by donating what we can and spreading the word about this incredible cause . Every little bit counts, right?
