I'm like totally confused by this whole thing
. I mean, isn't the goal of the Fed to keep the economy chillin' and growing smoothly? But Trump is all like "nope, you should be cutting rates way more"
. And then he goes after Powell for being slow... dude, I get it, it's not always easy to make decisions
.
But what really gets me is that some people are saying the Fed should just keep interest rates low forever
. Like, no thanks! I think we need some balance between growth and keeping inflation under control
. And can we talk about the dot plot for a sec? Two more rate cuts in a few years? That sounds kinda uncertain to me

Anyway, it's always good to have different opinions on this stuff
