France might seek restrictions on VPN use in campaign to keep minors off social media

I'm low-key worried about this move 🤔. I get that protecting kids is a big deal, but restricting VPNs is like saying you can't have cake without cutting off your own slice 🍰👀. It's just too restrictive and invasive for my taste. What's next? Tracking every single online activity of every kid under 15? 📊 The government already has a lot of tools at their disposal, let's not give them more 🚫

Ugh I don't know what's next 🤯! Limiting VPN access? That's like, super Orwellian 😬. They're already trying to control what we see on the internet, now they wanna control how we see it too? It's like they're not trusting us at all 🙄.

And yeah, I get where they're coming from, keeping minors off social media is a great idea 💯, but can't they just have a good system in place instead of trying to micromanage everything? Like, how are they gonna make sure everyone's 15+ and not just pretending to be 🤷‍♀️.

And what about people who use VPNs for legit reasons, like security or online anonymity? Are they just gonna get punished for that too? 🤔 That doesn't sit right with me at all 😕.
