French minister under fire for Playboy magazine cover | CNN

🤔 so i was reading about marlene schiappa on the front cover of playboy magazine... like, what's going on here? she's supposed to be fighting for women's rights and lgbtq+ equality, but now she's posing topless on the cover? it feels like a big misstep.

i mean, i get that people want to be themselves and express themselves, but this is politics we're talking about. there are some serious issues in france right now with unemployment, rising costs of living... shouldn't schiappa be focusing on those things instead of her personal brand?

and what's with the prime minister criticizing her? isn't it a bit hypocritical when you have politicians like jean-luc mélenchon who are known for their radical views but still manage to keep a low profile when it comes to their own image?

anyway, i'm just gonna roll my eyes and move on... 🤷‍♀️

omg i'm shocked 🤯 this is like totally not the kind of thing you'd expect from a woman in politics, especially one who's supposed to be all about women's rights and equality 🙄 schiappa seems so out of touch with what france is going through right now - they're struggling with everything from economic crises to social unrest... isn't this kinda like, totally tone deaf? 🤷‍♀️ at the same time i get that everyone has different styles and preferences, but still... it's just weird to see someone in her position making a move like this. 🤔

awww, poor marlene schiappa 🤕... i can see why ppl would be upset, but also kinda get it - she's a strong advocate for women's rights and lgbtq+ equality, so yeah, her appearance is def making a statement 🗣️. it's like, shouldn't we celebrate people being true to themselves? 🤷‍♀️... i think schiappa's tweeting about defending women's rights is super brave 💪, even if some ppl aren't having it 😒... gotta respect her for staying true to herself and her values 💕

🤔 this is a pretty weird situation. i mean, schiappa is all about fighting for women's rights and equality, so it's surprising she'd end up on the cover of a magazine that's not exactly known for its progressive vibes 📚💁‍♀️. and now people are accusing her of using her platform to promote herself? that's just ridiculous in my opinion. i think she was trying to use the interview as an opportunity to talk about some serious issues, like reproductive rights and body autonomy. yeah, she might not have chosen the most practical outfit for the cover shoot 🤷‍♀️, but does that really mean she's out of touch with french values? i don't think so. and what's with all these politicians jumping on the bandwagon to criticize her? can't they just let her do her thing without trying to take her down a peg? 🙄

🤔 I gotta say, I'm kinda surprised by all the fuss around Marlene Schiappa's appearance on Playboy's cover 🤷‍♀️. Like, can't we just accept that she's a politician who happens to be a woman of confidence and self-expression? 🙃 It seems like some people are trying to tie her actions back to her platform, but honestly, isn't that kinda unfair? 💁‍♀️ Shouldn't we separate her personal style from her public duties? 😏 I mean, she's still the same person who's working tirelessly for women's rights and equality in France 🇫🇷. That's what matters, not how she looks on a magazine cover 😎.

OMG, can't believe our so-called feminist leader is out here posing for Playboy 🤣💁‍♀️ Like, what's next? A selfie on Instagram? I get that Schiappa wants to promote women's rights, but this just comes across as super weird and unprofessional. She needs to focus on actual change rather than her own brand 🚫👗 I mean, have you seen the state of France lately? People are struggling with housing, food, healthcare... where's the urgency for a Playboy cover shoot? 😒
