Movement Festival Returns to Detroit with Electrifying Lineup for 2026 Celebration

Detroit's legendary Movement Music Festival has revealed its complete lineup for the 2026 edition, boasting an incredible array of more than 115 artists set to perform at Hart Plaza over Memorial Day Weekend. The festival, now in its 20th year under the guidance of Paxahau, promises to be a celebration of electronic music that will leave attendees dancing and energized.

The headlining acts include Grammy-winning American DJ and producer Sara Landry, who returns to her hometown after spending several years abroad; Australian dance music icon Dom Dolla; and global techno legend Carl Cox. Other notable performers on the bill include Detroit Techno Militia, Kevin Saunderson, Richie Hawtin, Boys Noize, Juan Atkins, Peezy, Jessica Care Moore, and many more.

"We're thrilled to welcome Sara Landry and Dom Dolla back to Movement," said a festival spokesperson. "Both artists have brought their A-game to the festival in previous years, and we can't wait to see what they have in store for us this time around."

Landry expressed her own excitement about returning to Detroit, stating, "The energy in this city is undeniable – I'm always thrilled to come back to the birthplace of techno. I'm going to bring something extra special to my set, and I can't wait to share it with you."

Dom Dolla also expressed his gratitude for being welcomed back by the Detroit electronic community, saying, "Movement is one of my favorite festivals... The history, the scope of performers, and the range of people coming together from multiple generations and backgrounds make it one of the most meaningful events to play. I'm very grateful to Paxahau, Chuck, and the Detroit electronic community for welcoming me back."

the lineup for movement festival is lookin good 🤩, lots of amazing artists and some surprises too. i'm hyped to see sara landry and dom dolla back on the scene - they both bring that energy to the stage 🎉. it's also dope to see a mix of old school techno legends like carl cox and juan atkins alongside newer talent like kesswa and nia archives 👀. can't wait for the festival to drop in 2026 🎶

OMG 🤩, can you even imagine the energy at Movement 2026?! 🌪️ Sara Landry and Dom Dolla are back and they're gonna bring that Detroit vibe to Hart Plaza! 💃🏽 It's gonna be a 4-day party with some of the biggest names in electronic music 🎉. I'm loving the lineup too - so many talented artists, from techno to house to bass. Can't wait for Carl Cox to spin those legendary sets 🔥. If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, grab 'em ASAP! 😅

omg this lineup is gonna be insane 🤯 i love that sara landry and dom dolla are back, and it's so cool that detroit techno militia is performing too! movement 2026 is gonna be such a celebration of electronic music 🎉 i'm hyped for the whole weekend

OMG, Detroit's Movement Festival is gonna be EPIC in 2026 🤩! I mean, Sara Landry and Dom Dolla are back? 🙌 Yeah, we're all gonna lose our minds to techno goodness! And Carl Cox? Forget about it, he's like the king of techno 🤯. I'm hyped just thinking about this lineup 😆. Paxahau's got some big names lined up, but let's be real, who's that one guy... Ah wait, I forgot, it's everyone else! LOL! Seriously though, Movement 2026 is gonna be a wild ride 🌪️. Get ready to party like it's '94 again 💃🏽!

Ugh, another huge lineup with too many DJ sets 🙄. I mean, can't they mix it up a bit? It's always the same tired techno and house DJs. What about some decent indie or alternative acts to spice things up? And why do they always have to play Hart Plaza during Memorial Day Weekend? Won't there be traffic and crowds? Can't they choose a better date? 🚗😒

Man, I'm getting all nostalgic just thinking about this lineup 🤯! Movement Festival is still one of the best electronic music festivals out there. It's crazy to think that Sara Landry and Dom Dolla are coming back to Detroit after years abroad... they're going to bring so much energy to the festival 🎉! And can we talk about Carl Cox? The king of techno is always a highlight for me 🙌.

I love how diverse this lineup is, too. From old-school techno legends like Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson to newer artists like Salar Ansari and Nastia... there's something for everyone. And the fact that they're having a b2b (back-to-back) set with some of these iconic DJs? 🔥 That's just going to be epic.

Detroit is such an amazing city, and it's clear that Movement Festival knows how to bring out the best in its artists and its community 🌆. Can't wait to see what this 2026 festival has in store!

🤩 I'm so stoked for the 2026 Movement Festival in Detroit! 😆 It's amazing to see such an incredible lineup of electronic music artists coming together. The fact that Sara Landry and Dom Dolla are back, along with Carl Cox, is just the icing on the cake 🍰. I love how diverse the lineup is too - from techno to house, and everything in between 🌈. Detroit's history as the birthplace of techno will definitely bring an energy to the festival that you won't want to miss 🎉! Can't wait for May 2026 and the celebration of electronic music with my fellow ravers 💃

🚨 Another festival season is coming and I'm already worried about the heat, noise pollution, and overcrowding 🌡️😷. Like, what's next? More people and less green space at Hart Plaza? Movement Festival has a killer lineup but I bet they'll still have to deal with long lines for the bathrooms and a ton of trash on the ground 🚮💔. And don't even get me started on the traffic around Detroit during Memorial Weekend... it's gonna be chaos 😩

omg this lineup is insane!!! i'm so down for a 20th year of movement festival 🤩 it's like the ultimate celebration of electronic music in detroit. sara landry and dom dolla are back and that's exciting! carl cox too, what a legend 🙌 the diversity of artists is amazing, from techno to house to drum and bass... i'm hyped for the performances by boys noize, richie hawtin, and jessica care moore 💃🏻🎶 can't wait to see who's gonna bring the energy at movement 2026 🌟

Yaaassss 🎉👏 Movement Festival is back and better than ever! I'm so hyped to see Sara Landry and Dom Dolla headlining this year. The lineup looks insane with a mix of old school techno legends and fresh faces. Carl Cox is giving me LIFE 😆🕺 Can't wait for Memorial Day Weekend and the whole festival vibes 🌞💃

OMG 🤯 I'm super meh about this lineup... like, it's cool and all, but can't we get some more newer faces? All these legendary artists are back, which is awesome, but what about the new blood? I want to see some fresh talent take the stage too! 🎶💃

omg, 115 artists is a lot, but how's it gonna be safe for all these people and the environment? they're still gonna have to deal with the noise pollution and traffic in Hart Plaza 🤔. and what about the price of tickets? i mean, some of these DJs are super famous and expensive, so i'm worried it's gonna get outta hand... 💸. also, don't get me wrong, i love electronic music as much as the next person, but can we please just have a festival with less emphasis on 'celebration' and more on actual artistic expression? 🎶

Movement Festival is always so hyped and packed 🤯, I'm not sure why they think Sara Landry and Dom Dolla are going to bring anything new this year. They've played before and it's just the same old techno vibes for me 💔. Carl Cox is cool and all, but I'd rather stick to some underground artists that actually innovate instead of rehashing old stuff 🤖. And what's with all these collabs? It feels like they're trying too hard to appeal to everyone 🎉. Can't they just let the artists be themselves for once?

I'm so down for Movement Festival coming back to Detroit in 2026. It's gonna be lit 🤩! I mean, having Sara Landry and Dom Dolla back on the lineup is just a dream come true - those guys always bring the energy 🎉. And can we talk about how awesome it is that they're bringing together so many talented artists from different backgrounds? It's like, the spirit of Detroit techno lives on 💥. I'm also loving the fact that they're having this epic lineup over Memorial Day Weekend - who doesn't love a good holiday weekend party 🎉?! Anyway, I'm already counting down the days until next May and can't wait to experience it all with my squad 👯.

OMG 😲🎉 this lineup is EVERYTHING! 🤩 Sara Landry, Dom Dolla, and Carl Cox are totes going to bring the HEAT 🔥💃 Can't wait for the Detroit Techno Militia set 👊🏽🔪, Rich Hawtin's always a thrill ride 🎢👀 And it looks like we've got some amazing female DJs too 💁‍♀️🔥 Nastia, Ellen Allien, and Jessica Care Moore are on the bill, yay! 🎉👯‍♀️ 115 artists? That's insane 🤯 Can't wait for Memorial Day Weekend to roll around 😎

Wow 🤩 this lineup is insane! Carl Cox, Sara Landry, and Dom Dolla are all back to bring the house down. Can't wait for Detroit Techno Militia and Kevin Saunderson to get the party started! 115 artists over Memorial Day Weekend? That's gonna be EPIC 💥

OMG you guys, 2026 is gonna be LIT!! I'm so hyped to see the lineup for Movement Festival in Detroit 🤩 Sara Landry and Dom Dolla are gonna bring the house down! I love how diverse the lineup is too - from techno to house to trap, there's something for everyone 🎶. And can we talk about the fact that Kevin Saunderson and Richie Hawtin are back?! Those guys are legends 🔥. I'm also excited to see some new talent like jessica Care moore and Life on Planets 🌟 What's your take on the lineup? Who's on your radar for 2026? 🤔
