I'm totally bummed out about this whole thing 
. I mean, who gets arrested by ICE just because they're doing their job? It's just not right. Rafael Andres Rubio Bohorquez was working as a data analyst for the city council, not breaking any laws or putting anyone in harm's way. He even had the proper documentation to prove he was allowed to be here 
.
I think it's crazy that ICE didn't do their due diligence on verifying his immigration status before making an arrest. It's like they just swooped in and took him without a second thought
. And now this poor guy is stuck in jail with an uncertain future. It's heartbreaking to see someone get treated like this.
The fact that so many high-ranking officials are speaking out against this overreach of authority is exactly what we need more of
. We should be able to trust our government agencies to do their jobs fairly and without targeting innocent people. This whole situation has highlighted the need for better immigration policies and protection for people like Bohorquez, who are just trying to live their lives in a new country

it's just not right that some immigrant is being held back because of some paperwork 
it's like, we're all human beings here, you know? We gotta treat each other with kindness & respect, not make people feel scared or hunted 
. I don't get how some people can just look at this situation and say "oh well" 
... there are so many good people in this world who care about fairness & justice
