I'm so frustrated with the snack options on planes! My kid's been asking for pretzels and Biscoff cookies nonstop on our flights, and it's just not good for them. I wish airlines would offer healthier options like fruits or veggie sticks instead of all that processed junk. And don't even get me started on the sugar content in some of those cookie brands... ugh! It's crazy how hard it is to find something decent to munch on while flying. Bring your own food for sure - we do that on most flights and it makes a huge difference. Even my toddler likes packing her own snacks, like goldfish crackers and animal cookies. Less mess and more nutritious options all around!
You know what's crazy? People still expect airlines to provide free meals on flights! Like, who thought that was a good idea? I mean, we're already cramped in those seats for hours, the last thing we need is some greasy meal. And don't even get me started on the snacks - pretzels and Biscoff cookies are basically just a way to guilt trip us into eating more junk food. Give me nuts any day! They're like a healthy superhero snack that can save the day.
I mean, it's pretty obvious that airline snacks are not the healthiest options, but still, who wants to spend hours in the air without being able to grab something decent? I've had those pretzel packs before and they're literally just a vessel for excess salt... 8 ounces of water per hour is a good rule of thumb, btw. And omg, have you ever tried trying to drink coffee or soda with your ears plugged up from takeoff? Not fun! Bring your own food, I say - it's not that hard and you can make sure what you're putting in your body is actually nutritious. Like, what's the point of flying if you're just gonna feel crummy afterwards?
I'm so done with all this fuss about airline snacks . I mean, come on, it's just a pretzel or cookie every now and then. If you're really that worried about your sodium intake, just grab some nuts from the health food store before you fly – they're not going to break the bank . And honestly, have you seen the prices of those "healthy" snack packs in the airport? No thanks! Just bring some of your own stuff and be done with it. I'd rather have a few extra calories than deal with all this drama over airline snacks .
