HSBC appoints interim chair Brendan Nelson to permanent role

I'm a bit surprised about Brendan Nelson being appointed as the chair of HSBC 🤔. I mean, he's got experience and all that, but six to nine years? That sounds like a pretty long commitment 😬. What if there are other issues coming up that need someone with fresh perspective? Or what if he decides to step down before his term is over? 💸 It's good that they finally found someone, I guess, but now we just have to wait and see how it all plays out 🎯
