Ugh, can you believe what happened with those NY City juvenile detention centers? Like, I know they've been getting slammed for years over this sexual abuse thing, but it's crazy that it took so long for the law to catch up
. I mean, decades of kids being abused and nobody doing anything about it is just heartbreaking. And then that judge throws out half of the lawsuits because of some tiny technicality? Like, what even is that? 
But you know who's the real heroes here? The survivors like Austin and Jason, they're finally getting a chance to seek justice and hold those perpetrators accountable
. It's not going to erase the trauma or anything, but it's about time someone took responsibility for their actions. And let's be real, this law is still imperfect, but at least it's a start
