
This case is just heartbreaking

. I mean, can you even imagine waiting for like 10+ years for your abuser to get some sort of justice? It's like, totally unacceptable that it took this long to get to the point where someone got charged

. And all these poor victims out there who are still waiting for their cases to be investigated and given some sort of resolution... it's just so frustrating

I think we need to seriously re-examine our justice system and figure out how we can improve it for people like Rachel and the thousands of others who've been through this

. It's not just about training more officers or doing better background checks, but also about making sure that victims are actually receiving the support they need during this whole process

.
I mean, I get that stuff is complicated and there are a lot of moving parts, but we can't keep putting it off

. We need to prioritize justice for these people and make some real changes ASAP

. Delayed justice isn't justice at all, you know?
