ICE’s “less lethal” crowd-control weapons can still be deadly

🚨 I'm low-key worried about this whole situation, fam 🤯 these "less lethal" crowd control measures are getting a bad rep for a reason 🚫. I mean, have you seen those videos of people getting shot with stuff like pepper spray or stun guns? It's crazy 💥. And it's not just the fact that they can cause serious injury, but also that law enforcement is often failing to follow best practices 🤦‍♂️. It's time for some real change, you know? Like, these states are trying to regulate this stuff and I'm all for it 👍. But we need more awareness and education on how to use these tools safely 💡. Can't have people getting hurt like Kaden Rummler 🤕. Maybe we can get some experts from Physicians for Human Rights to weigh in on this? 🤔 [link to Physicians for Human Rights article](https://www.physiciansforhumanrights.org/...)

OMG I'm literally shaking just thinking about those less lethal crowd control measures 🤯!!! It's like, yeah I get it they're supposed to be safer but when did we start accepting the idea that we can safely spray people in the face with rubber bullets?!?! 😲 And don't even get me started on the head shots and all that jazz 💀. Like, what is wrong with these officers?! Can't they see that they're just gonna end up giving someone permanent damage?! 🤦‍♀️

And I mean, yeah California's trying to do something right by passing those laws but it's like... if we can get the rest of the country on board with this then maybe we can start making some real progress 💪. But for now it's just like... a bunch of agencies are still walking around with their "less lethal" measures and thinking they're above the law 🚫.

And what really gets me is when you see those videos of people getting injured or worse and the officers just shrug it off like "oh yeah, that's just part of the job" 😒. No, it's not just part of the job it's a symptom of a bigger problem! We need to start taking responsibility for our actions and making sure that we're using these tools in a way that actually keeps us safe 💕.

🚨 Law enforcement needs to get their act together with those "less lethal" tools 🤯. Stun guns and pepper spray are not toys, they're meant for people's lives 💀. If you can't handle a situation without resorting to less-lethal force, maybe you shouldn't be on the front lines 👮‍♂️. And what's up with the officers aiming directly at people's faces? 🤔👊

man this is wild 🤯 ice is literally using crowd control measures that can still kill people and nobody's holding them accountable 🚫 they're like "oh we have less lethal options" but really it's just a bunch of cops trying to exert power over ppl who are already being targeted 😩 kaden rummler's face injury is insane btw 🤕 1 in 5 pepper spray users end up with serious eye injuries, and the medical director at Physicians for Human Rights says kinetic impact projectiles can NEVER be used safely lol what's next, gonna start using water balloons to disperse crowds? 🌊

🤔 I'm kinda worried about this whole thing... I mean, these "less lethal" crowd control measures sound cool on paper, but when it comes down to reality, they can still be super deadly if not used right. Like, what's the point of having a device that can stop someone dead in their tracks if you're just gonna use it wrong? 🚨 And we all know what happened with Kaden Rummler... it's wild how much damage one little device can cause.

I think we need to have a bigger conversation about this. We should be looking at the bigger picture, like why these incidents are happening in the first place. Is it because law enforcement is struggling to de-escalate situations? Or is it because they're not getting the training they need?

We also need to listen to the experts and take their concerns seriously. It's clear that these devices can be hazardous if used recklessly, but maybe we can find a better way to use them that still prioritizes public safety. We should be looking at ways to improve de-escalation techniques and create better protocols for officers to follow.

It's not just about passing laws or regulations; it's about making sure our law enforcement is equipped with the tools they need to do their job safely and humanely.
