Ilia Malinin lands backflip during Olympic debut

lol this is crazy how much security issues are like, just a few lines of code away from being major problems 🤯. anyone who writes out html and js all day knows its hard to keep track of what you did 3 months ago 🙃. idk about the best practices for storage but i do know that using localStorage without clearing it can be a huge security risk if not done right 🚫. also, why is css still so slow with all these new dev tools and software out there? 😴

I'm reading this thread and I gotta say, dude, it sounds like a total nightmare trying to debug someone else's code 🤯. Like, I get it, security, performance, accessibility - all those things are super important 💻. But can't we just use a tool that auto-fixes the issues? 🤔

I'm all for learning and improvement, but come on, where's the fun in manually going through every line of code? 😴 And what's with the "best practices" thing - like, who decides what's best anyway? 💸 I mean, I know some people are super good at this stuff, but can't we just have a "default mode" where everything is working fine and then let the experts come in to tweak it 🔧.

And another thing, why not use an IDE with built-in debugging tools instead of relying on separate linters and code analyzers? 🤝 It seems like so much more efficient and less painful 💔. I mean, have you seen some of these codebases - it's like trying to read a novel through the phone book 😅. Just saying 👀

omg i'm not a web dev but it sounds like they need to do some major updates on that html doc lol security is key fam dont wanna be vulnerable to hackers at all! 💯 and accessibility is everything too, gotta make sure everyone can use the site no matter what browser or device 📱💻

idk why devs still use localStorage lol it's like they wanna make their app vulnerable to some hacker dude. also, css specificity is a thing people need to worry about more often. and accessibility is not just about screen readers, its about making the whole thing usable for anyone with disabilities. devs should really take some time to optimize that code, it's only gonna make users happy in the long run
