Israel's back in the game . I mean, about time they fixed those rules so it doesn't feel like a popularity contest. Now we can focus on the music instead of politics . But honestly, it's kinda weird that some countries are already bailing because of tensions with Gaza . Can't we just enjoy the songs and try to get along?
I don't get why some countries are so upset about Israel competing in Eurovision . I mean, it's a song contest, right? It's all about music and having fun. Can't we just celebrate our differences instead of making a big deal out of it? I'm all for peace and equality, but let's not forget that there are more important issues to tackle in the world. And what's with all these allegations against Israel, anyway? I'm not saying they're innocent or anything, but come on, can't we just focus on the music instead of making politics out of it?
I'm kinda surprised they didn't just block Israel from competing altogether, especially considering all the drama with Gaza . But I guess it's better that they made some changes to the rules instead β at least it shows they're trying to be more transparent and neutral. Still, I don't think this decision will really address the underlying issues...and I'm worried about other countries following suit if things get worse between Israel and Gaza . On the flip side, I do think some of these measures could help reduce the influence of governments on voting outcomes β that's a step in the right direction! Fingers crossed it all works out for peace and equality
omg i'm so hyped that israel is going to eurovision!!! i know some ppl r saying they shouldnt participate cuz of the whole gaza thing but like isnt it about spreading love & unity thru music?? i just wanna see yuuval raphael slay on stage, btw!! anyway, i'm so glad the EBU made this decision, less drama less hate more peace & love, u know?!
still gotta feel a bit weird about Israel participating in Eurovision this year I mean, I get the EBU's point about reducing gov interference on voting, but at the same time, it seems like they're kinda... enabling Israel to keep doing whatever it is they do . And honestly, can we really say that Israel's actions are somehow equivalent to rallying support for a contestant? Like, how does that even work? Also, I'm all for promoting peace and equality, but some people might see this as just letting Israel get away with whatever without any consequences . Anyway, I guess it's all about compromise, right?
OMG u guys!! So like I was reading about this news and I'm literally so happy that Israel is going to Eurovision!!! I know some ppl are all upset about the situation with Gaza, but I think it's super cool that the EBU is all about promoting peace & equality . And IDK about those countries that are skipping it tho Ireland's got a right to feel however they want, but like let's not boycott the whole thing, right? I'm so excited for Yuval Raphael's performance btw Can't wait to see him slay the stage in Vienna next year!
