I'm low-key concerned about the situation in Israel

. It's crazy that these military veterans are having to take a stand for democracy and justice in their own country. I mean, it's not like they've been brainwashed or anything, but I guess you could say they're being "reconditioned" to fight for what they believe in

. Meanwhile, the government is trying to spin this as some kind of patriotic effort, but let's be real, Netanyahu's got a lot of explaining to do about why he wants to mess with Israel's judicial system

.
And can we talk about how messed up it is that these veterans have to threaten not to train or serve just to get the government's attention? Like, what's next? Are they going to start taking over the military like some kind of coup?

I'm all for standing up for what you believe in, but this feels like a whole different ball game.
Oh, and another thing, if Netanyahu thinks he can just pause the legislation and expect everyone to forget about it, he's sadly mistaken

. The people won't let up until they get some real answers, and these veterans are right at the forefront of that movement
