Just more than a decade ago, architect Frank Gehry proposed a dramatic change to the Rocky Steps

Man I'm so down with the people who wanted to preserve those Rocky steps 🀘! They're an iconic part of Philly's history and culture and we should be protecting them, not messing with them πŸ’ͺ. Gehry might've been a genius architect and all, but this idea was just plain wrong πŸ‘Ž. Plus can you imagine what kind of vibe it would've given the whole place? A 24-foot window in the middle of the steps? No thanks πŸ˜‚.

It's great to see that the museum listened to the community and decided to keep things as they are. I mean, why fix what ain't broke, right? πŸ™ƒ And yeah, Gehry might've changed the game with his designs, but we can still appreciate his work without messing with our beloved Rocky steps πŸ’•. Let's just hope that future generations will continue to learn from and be inspired by this legendary architect πŸ‘.

meh, i dunno why ppl are so attached to the rocky steps anyway... they're just old stairs πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. it's not like they're some historical monument or anything. and yeah, a big window wouldn't even change the fact that the step is still just a bunch of stairs leading up to the museum. i mean, can u imagine if they did actually make the changes? would ppl have been all like "wow, this is so amazing" or would it've just felt like another tourist trap thing πŸ€”... probably the latter πŸ‘Ž

omg I'm so disappointed in the city council for not giving Frank Gehry more credit πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ for his genius ideas. I mean, who wouldn't want a giant window in the middle of the Rocky Steps? it would've been lit πŸŽ‰! Instead they just preserved everything and now it's all boring again 😴. at least he left us with that Vaulted Walkway tho πŸ‘

I feel bad for Mark Rubenstein and Frank Gehry on this one πŸ€”. I mean, you've got an iconic landmark like Rocky Steps, and then someone comes along with a crazy idea to change it up and make it more... modern? 🏒 It's not about being nostalgic or stuck in the past, but having a strong connection to something that represents your city's history and culture.

Gehry's a genius, no doubt, but sometimes his passion for innovation can cloud his judgment 😊. I think it's awesome that the community stood up for what they believed was right – preserving the original Rocky Steps is definitely the way to go πŸ™Œ. It's not about being close-minded, it's about respecting and appreciating what we have in our own city ❀️.

I'm soooo bummed about the Rocky Steps Revival πŸ€• - I mean, who wouldn't wanna see a massive window in their iconic landmark? πŸ˜‚ But I get why the community was like "no way, JosΓ©!" πŸ’β€β™€οΈ Preservation is key, right? πŸ‘ That Frank Gehry's legacy lives on in other amazing projects tho! The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and Walt Disney Concert Hall are still mind-blowing to me 🀯. And can we talk about how cool it is that his design influence can still be seen in the museum's renovation? πŸ”₯ I'm gonna take a productivity hack tip from this: sometimes less is more... just sayin' πŸ˜‰

I think it's pretty cool that Frank Gehry got to leave his mark on the Rocky steps even though the plan didn't go through 😊. It just goes to show that architects have so much influence on our surroundings and how we experience them. The fact that his ideas are still being considered is a testament to his genius πŸ’‘.

It's also awesome that there were so many people passionate about preserving the original steps, it shows how strong community spirit can be ❀️. Maybe one day someone will come up with an even more innovative plan and get to bring Gehry's vision to life 🀞.
