omg I just saw the most epic sunset yesterday while I was on my daily hike and it got me thinking about how much I love trying new foods from different cultures like this one Vietnamese restaurant I found near the trail that makes these insane banh mi sandwiches have you guys tried them? they're literally life changing and also speaking of life changing, I just heard that Harry Styles is coming to town soon and I need to get tickets ASAP I've been listening to his new album nonstop
I'm so done with people making such a big deal about Katy Perry's outfit! It was one photo, for crying out loud! You can't put her in a box just because she's a global pop icon. And can we talk about how weird it is that Fumio Kishida posted the photo and expected us to think he was being all innocent and pure? Like, get over yourself, dude.
And what really gets me is how Trudeau is getting roasted for not addressing Perry correctly, like it's his fault she wore a "wrong" outfit. Newsflash: Katy Perry is a grown woman who knows her own style. If she wants to wear a mini skirt and blazer to a diplomatic dinner, that's her choice.
The bigger issue here is cultural sensitivity... or the lack thereof. I mean, come on! We're all over here judging Katy Perry for wearing what some people think is "inappropriate" and we shouldn't be surprised if she got dressed up in a way that makes sense to her. It's a diplomatic dinner, not a music video shoot!
gotta wonder if Kishida even checked the venue dress code before posting that pic i mean, it's not like he's never been to a fancy dinner party before, right? but seriously though, shouldn't we be focusing on how amazing Katy Perry and Trudeau seem together, not what she wore? btw, who knew pop stars were required to dress up for diplomatic events now?
