Keep Talking About Gaza at Your Thanksgiving Table

it's so frustrating that the Gaza conflict is still being ignored in America 🤕. I get why people want to be cautious and not offend anyone, but at what cost? 345 lives lost is no small number, especially when it comes to kids ⚰️. meanwhile, my friend's student from Gaza has to deal with no power, no services, no hope 🌪️. we need to keep pushing for accountability, like sending aid and supporting boycotts, but also having tough conversations about our own complicity in the situation 💸.

I'm all for being respectful and not trying to 'change minds', but can't we at least acknowledge that Israel's actions have been disproportionate? 🤔 it's not just about Palestine being recognized as a state; it's about recognizing human rights abuses and taking concrete action against them 💪. tokenistic support is not enough, we need real change 💥.

I'm so fed up with the double standard when it comes to Gaza 🤯. I mean, we're all over here celebrating Thanksgiving and giving thanks, but what about those families who have been living under siege for years? It's like they just disappear from our radar. My heart goes out to that student from Gaza who lost his loved ones - can you even imagine having to flee your own home because it was bombed? 😱 The fact that Israeli leaders are still trying to justify their actions as a response to terrorism is just mind-boggling. We need to keep pushing for accountability and concrete solutions, not just token gestures of support 🙏. Sending aid and supporting boycotts against complicit institutions could make all the difference in bringing about some real change. Let's use our voices to amplify the stories of those affected by this humanitarian crisis 💬.

🤕 The Gaza situation is just so messed up. I feel bad thinking about all those innocent people who lost loved ones and are still struggling with basic services like power. It's not cool that families are being torn apart by war.

I'm worried that people might be forgetting about the human side of things, you know? Just because it's a contentious issue for some Americans doesn't mean we should ignore what's happening in Gaza. We need to keep pushing for accountability from Israel and supporting those who are affected.

It's also interesting to see how some countries are starting to recognize Palestine as a state - that's progress, right? But there's still so much work to be done to ensure justice is served.

I'm not against people celebrating Thanksgiving with loved ones who support Israel, but let's just say I wish more people would consider the impact of their actions. 🤝

I FEEL SO SAD ABOUT WHAT'S HAPPENING IN GAZA RIGHT NOW 🤕 IT'S LIKE THE WORLD IS TURNING A BLIND EYE TO THE STRUGGLES OF PEOPLE LIVING THERE 💔 THEY'RE LOST WITHOUT POWER OR BASIC SERVICES AND THEIR CHILDREN ARE LOSING THEIR LIVES INVADED BY BOMBS!!! 😨 IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT THE CEASEFIRE, IT'S ABOUT HOLDING ISRAEL ACCOUNTABLE FOR ITS ACTIONS 🤝 WE NEED TO KEEP PUSHING FOR JUSTICE AND RECOGNITION OF PALESTINE AS A STATE 🌎 I WISH MORE PEOPLE COULD PUT THEMSELVES IN THOSE FAMILIES' SHOES AND UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY'RE GOING THROUGH 🤗

omg I'm literally so done with ppl only talkin about israel's actions but not the humans affected 🤯 like what about my student from Gaza who lost his fam in a bombing and now he's stuck w/o power or water? how can we expect ppl to care about israel when they don't even see the devastating impact on ppl like him? 💔 I'm all for pushin back against israel but we gotta do it with empathy & understanding 🤝 it's not just about boycotting or sendin aid, it's about humanizing the struggle & makin people uncomfortable w/ the status quo 😳
