OMG is this real life?! I'm like totally shook that Wasserman knew Maxwell all those years ago and didn't tell us... did he not do his research or something? And what's up with the IOC being all tight-lipped about it? Can't they just say something, like "oh yeah we knew too"?

Anyway, I'm kinda wondering if this whole thing is gonna mess up the Olympics. I mean, I wanna watch the athletes and the fireworks and stuff, not read about some rich guy's bad friends... But at the same time, it's like we need to talk about this kind of stuff so people don't forget that there are consequences for being involved in shady stuff.

Umm does anyone know what Milano-Cortina Olympics is? Is that even a thing?

I'm not sure what's more concerning, the fact that Wasserman had emails with Maxwell or that he was married back then ... It just shows how hard it is for people to separate personal and professional life, especially when there are powerful connections involved .

It's sad that the IOC isn't doing more to address this issue, considering all the scrutiny surrounding Epstein and his associates . The Olympics should be about bringing people together, not creating more drama and controversy. Can we focus on what really matters - the athletes and the games themselves?

Ugh, this is like a bad dream come true ... I mean, who gets caught up with someone as shady as Ghislaine Maxwell and still gets the gig of running the Olympics? Wasserman's apology doesn't cut it, IMHO - it just makes me think he was full-on aware of her connections to Epstein and decided to play it cool instead of being upfront about it. And what's up with this whole thing not being a bigger deal back in 2003 when all these emails were exchanged? It's like the IOC is just sweeping this under the rug because they don't want the drama before their own games start. I mean, I get that you gotta move forward and focus on the games, but can't we at least try to acknowledge some responsibility here?

OMG is this seriously how we're gonna roll out the 2028 Olympics? Wasserman's apology better be more than just a PR stunt . Like, what was he even thinking sending flirtatious emails with Ghislaine Maxwell in the first place?! It's not like she's exactly known for being above board, you know? And now the IOC is just gonna sweep this under the rug and hope everyone forgets? No thanks! I need to see some real accountability here. The Olympics are supposed to be about unity and sportsmanship, not dodgy relationships with convicted sex offenders

this is so messed up! as someone who's all about wellness and mindfulness , it's crazy to think that someone in a position of power like Wasserman could be so clueless about his past associations with Epstein . i mean, come on, 2003 emails? that's not just flirty, that's red flag territory ! and now he's trying to brush it off by saying he never had a personal or business relationship with Epstein ... yeah right!

i'm all for people making mistakes and learning from them, but this is like, totally different. Wasserman's job is to run the Olympics , not to play games with his own ethics . and now the IOC is just sitting on it, letting Wasserman slide? that's not what I call accountability .

anyway, i guess we'll just have to wait and see how this all plays out . in the meantime, can we please just focus on some good vibes and positivity?

I don't think it's about apologizing for having personal connections in the past, but more about being transparent about them now. Wasserman should have owned up to his association with Maxwell sooner, especially since they were together back in 2003 . It's not like he had some secret life that was hidden from everyone...

What really gets me is how this came out just before the Milano-Cortina Olympics . Are we supposed to forget about Wasserman and his LA28 Games? I think it's better for the IOC to address this directly, rather than brushing it off like it's no big deal .

Anyway, I'm still excited for the Olympics, but I want to see how this all plays out...
