Knicks Guard Landry Shamet's Season in Jeopardy After Dislocating Shoulder on Hard Screen.

In a shocking turn of events, New York Knicks guard Landry Shamet suffered a dislocated shoulder during Saturday’s game against the Orlando Magic. The 28-year-old point guard's right shoulder appeared to pop out of its socket after being hit with a hard screen by Magic center Wendell Carter Jr.

Ugh man this is terrible news for Landry Shamet 🤕 his season is basically done and it's gonna be tough for him to get back from a dislocated shoulder. I mean we all know how prone those things are to re-injury, especially if you don't have surgery. It's like the Knicks already had depth issues with OG Anunoby out too so this just throws another wrench in their plans.

The thing that really gets me is Shamet rehabbing last year and still dealing with it now... I get it can happen to anyone but still. The injury status will definitely make things more complicated for the team and I'm sure they'll have to find a new rotation without him. Mike Brown's gotta do some creative roster managing to make it work, maybe give Diawara more minutes or something. It's gonna be tough for Shamet to bounce back from this one... 😟
 
Omg what's up with these NBA players and their fragile egos lol 🤣🏀 I mean don't get me wrong, dislocated shoulders are serious injuries but come on Landry Shamet knew the risks when he chose not to have surgery last year and still played through it. Like, he got a second chance and now this happens again? It's all about the money and contracts at this point 💸 The Knicks are gonna regret signing him to that deal, they're basically putting their season on hold because of one injury 🤦‍♂️

And don't even get me started on Wendell Carter Jr. - that hard screen was no accident, it was a reckless move that could've cost Landry his career... or worse, his season 🤕.

I feel so bad for Shamet, he's been working so hard and then this happens... I hope he gets the best treatment possible and recovers quickly, but at the same time, I'm worried about what this means for the Knicks' chances of making it to the playoffs. OG Anunoby sitting out with a hamstring strain is bad enough, now Landry's injury is throwing everything off balance 🤯💔.

And can we talk about how ridiculous it is that he has to deal with this while playing on a non-guaranteed contract? Like, shouldn't he be able to focus on his game without worrying about whether or not he'll even have a job after the season ends? 😩 It's just so unfair...

I don’t usually comment but I feel bad for Landry Shamet, he's been having a solid season and now this... 🤕 A dislocated shoulder is no joke, especially considering how painful it must be to deal with. Last year was rough for him too, rehab was a real bummer. But you know what? You can't control injuries, and it's not like he could've seen it coming. His situation is kinda tough because if he goes under the knife, it'll add up to more than 6 months of recovery time... 🤯 That's just brutal for a guy who's trying to make an impact on this team.

And the worst part is that if he doesn't get surgery, there's a good chance he'll be out for months 😩. I don't know how much more this team can take with all these injuries 🤦‍♂️. The coach is already having to give more minutes to that rookie Diawara... like what are the chances of him even being good? 😂

Anyway, I hope Shamet gets the help he needs and recovers quickly 💪. He's an important player for this team and we need him back ASAP 🕰️.
 
ugh man this is terrible news for the knicks... dislocating ur shoulder 2 times in 1 yr is a huge red flag, cant believe shamet chose not 2 do surgery last yr and it cost him again now they gotta deal w/ depth chart issues & og anunoby's hamstring strain already has em in a tough spot coach mike brown must be pulling his hair out 🤯💉

Oh man 🤕, I'm so bummed for Landry Shamet! He's been doing so well this season and now it sounds like his season is in jeopardy. A dislocated shoulder can be super painful and if he doesn't get surgery, there's a good chance he'll end up re-injuring it. It's tough to see him go down when the Knicks already have a lot of injuries going on. OG Anunoby sitting out with a hamstring strain is bad news too. I hope Landry recovers quickly and can come back strong, but it's looking like his season might be over 🤞

🤕 man that's so sad for Landry Shamet... like he's been having some issues with his shoulder and now this... hard screen is nasty 😒. I remember when Kyrie Irving had that same issue in 2020, it was a big blow to the Celtics' season too 🐦. This guy is gonna have to take care of himself for a while if he wants to make it through the rest of the year 👍. The Knicks are gonna have to scramble now with Shamet out, can't have OG Anunoby sitting out too, that's just a bad break... poor guys 🤕
