West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta is reportedly keen on leaving the English Premier League club, with Brazilian side Flamengo reportedly willing to sign him. The Brazilian transfer window remains open until March.

The 28-year-old midfielder has been a key player for West Ham since joining from Lyon in August 2022, but he is said to be looking to return home to Brazil. Flamengo are ready to make an offer of £26m (€30m) for the Brazilian international, who is willing to take a pay cut to join the club.

West Ham's decision to sell Paqueta has been delayed due to relegation threats, with the club currently sitting 18th in the league. Despite this, it seems that Flamengo are among those interested in signing him.

idk about this... £26m is a decent offer, but £30m? that's steep for a player who's still got 2 years left on his contract 🤑 plus he got off scot free from those spot-fixing charges, you'd think west ham would be willing to keep him as a PR boost or something... but i guess when you're in a relegation battle, you'll do whatever it takes to stay up 😬 flamengo's gotta be happy about the prospect of getting him at a discounted rate tho 🤔
