Mexico City, Doha or L.A.? The Answer Depends on What You’re Looking For

omg i'm so down for art basel qatar in feb 🤩🎨 but like isn't it kinda weird that they're focusing on established names instead of giving those emerging artists a chance? 🤷‍♀️ [www.artbasel.com](http://www.artbasel.com) anyone know if there's gonna be any cool new art spots popping up in doha during the fair? 💸🏙️

Duh, you guys gotta get it together! 🙄 Art Basel Qatar is gonna be low-key amazing, don't @ me, but like, if you're an emerging artist, you might wanna keep looking because they're focusing on those established names and whatnot. On the other hand, Frieze LA is gonna be all about the local scene, which I'm kinda hyped about, tbh 🤩

But let's talk about Mexico City - it's getting some major art cred lately! The National Museum of Qatar is gonna show off its collection at Art Basel Qatar, and that Fire Station in Doha is, like, super cool and all. And LACMA Biennial? Hammer Biennial too? Yeah, LA is still the king of art fairs, no debate 🤷‍♂️

And can we please talk about how Qatar's museum scene is on the rise?! The country's investing big time in arts education, exhibitions, and all that jazz. It's like, they're trying to become the next Venice or something! 💼

man i feel so hopeful about these upcoming art fairs 🌈 especially in qatar and mexico city it's like they're finally getting the recognition they deserve as major art destinations i mean who wouldn't want to showcase their work in front of all those international eyes? but at the same time, i gotta say i'm a bit sad for los angeles they've been such an iconic hub for years and now they're kinda being pushed aside 🤕 what's gonna happen to the artists that call la home? are they just gonna get left behind in all this qatari and mexican art action? no way, we need more opportunities for emeerging artists everywhere not just those with established names 🎨💖

ugh i feel like im stuck in this online bubble sometimes 🤯 i mean, i know los angeles has always been a big deal for art but its kinda sad that qatar and mexico city are slowly getting left behind 🌴🎨 i mean, art is supposed to be all about pushing boundaries and exploring new ideas, right? not just playing it safe with the same old names 💸😔 what if we're missing out on some amazing new talent because of the pandemic? 🤕 i hope those artists can find a way to get their voices heard 📢💖

omg I just got tickets to Frieze LA 🤩 and I'm super hyped!! I've heard it's going to be lit!!! but like, what's up with all these art fairs happening everywhere? isn't LA already kinda saturated with them? and omg the Fire Station in Doha sounds soooo cool! are they gonna have any food trucks there? 🍴👀

omg i'm literally so excited for art basel qatar 🤩 but honestly how can they expect ppl to care about emerging artists when it's all like super mainstream? like i know qatar is trying hard and all but we need more spaces for those new voices, you feel? also los angeles is gonna be the real MVP for arts in 2025 lol. santa monica airport is gonna be lit 🎉
