man this new tax is gonna be a total disaster

for michigan's cannabis market. like prices are already so low, it's crazy how many businesses are struggling to stay afloat. i feel bad for all those employees who lost their jobs. it's not just the growers, either - dispensaries and other businesses are feeling the pinch too.
i'm also worried about what this means for the cities that rely on tax revenue from cannabis sales. hazel park, ferndale, inkster... they're all going to take a hit if businesses start closing up shop. it's like, how do you just cut off your nose to spite your face?
and what's with this new wholesale tax? 24% is huge. i get that the state needs more revenue, but there has to be a better way to do it than by crushing small businesses. and if people start buying from the black market again...

well, we're all gonna lose out in the end.
somebody needs to step in here and help this industry out before it's too late

. it's like, michigan has been so cool with cannabis for years now... but this new tax is just straight-up whack
