According to the Department of Homeland Security, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent fatally shot a woman in her car during operations in Minneapolis on Wednesday, claiming she was attempting to run over law enforcement officers with her vehicle. However, Minneapolis Mayor Frey strongly disputed these claims, stating that he saw video of the incident and believed the officer's actions were reckless and resulted in someone's death.
The victim was identified as a 37-year-old woman who was not driving her car towards the agent but rather was watching out for immigrant neighbors. Minneapolis police also stated that she was simply parked on the road, blocking it, when an ICE officer approached her on foot and two shots were fired, causing her vehicle to crash.

As many as 2,000 agents from ICE and Homeland Security Investigations could be deployed in the Minneapolis area for immigration enforcement and fraud investigations.

so theres this lady who gets shot by an ice officer while she was just chillin in her car, mindin her biz & watchin out 4 her immigrant neighbors

he thinks its just a case of ice officer bein reckless & killin some1 in the process. police are sayin she was jus parked on the road blockin it & then 2 shots get fired & her car crashes

... i dont think the DHS is being honest about what happened here... i mean, 2000 agents in minneapolis? that's crazy 
... mayor frey seems really reasonable to me... i wish more people would trust their own judgment and not just believe whatever the government tells them 
the whole thing just feels off to me, like they're trying to spin this as some kind of self-defense situation when it's clear that wasnt what happened. i saw videos of the incident online and it looked super suspicious too... i dont know how many people can actually trust the story coming from the mayor or the DHS now? 2k agents heading into minneapolis is crazy, feels like they're just trying to intimidate the community 
i mean, what if she was just a good Samaritan trying to help out her neighbors? it doesn't seem like a big deal to me, but apparently to these guys, it was an "act of domestic terrorism". 
meanwhile, we're still dealing with real issues like police brutality and systemic racism... can we please focus on that for once?
