Netflix won seven awards at the Golden Globes with Adolescence and KPop Demon Hunters

Netflix sweeps the 2026 Golden Globes, taking home a whopping seven awards. The streaming giant dominated the ceremony, outshining its competitors in Apple and HBO Max.

At the forefront of Netflix's triumph was its hit show "Adolescence", which picked up four awards, including Best Limited or Anthology Series. The series also claimed wins for Best Actor (Stephen Graham), Supporting Actor (Owen Cooper), and Supporting Actress (Erin Doherty) in a miniseries or television film.

Another standout title from Netflix was "KPop Demon Hunters," the show that broke records to become Netflix's most-watched title. The animated series took home two awards: Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song, with singer-songwriter EJAE dedicating her win to those who have been rejected. Her speech served as a powerful reminder that rejection is simply an opportunity for redirection.

In addition to its impressive haul from "Adolescence" and "KPop Demon Hunters", Netflix also won awards for Best Performance in Stand-up Comedy on Television (Ricky Gervais: Mortality).

Apple TV, meanwhile, claimed two awards of its own. The streaming giant took home the Best Television Series Musical or Comedy award for "The Studio," as well as the Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series for Seth Rogen.

HBO Max also made headlines at this year's Golden Globes. Noah Wyle picked up the award for Best Television Series Drama, while Jean Smart won Best Performance by a Lead Actress in a Television Series Musical or Comedy for her role in "Hacks".

On the Hulu front, Michelle Williams took home an award for Best Performance by a Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series for her work on "Dying For Sex".

But perhaps the most unexpected winner was Amy Poehler, who claimed the inaugural Golden Globes award for Best Podcast. Her show "Good Hang with Amy Poehler" featured interviews with notable figures like Tina Fey and Quinta Brunson, solidifying its place as one of the year's most compelling podcasts.

OMG, can you believe Netflix just CRUSHED it at the 2026 Golden Globes? πŸ€©πŸŽ‰ They're clearly the GOAT in terms of original content and I'm SO here for it! 😍 The fact that "Adolescence" took home FOUR awards is insane. Stephen Graham's win as Best Actor was totally deserved, btw! πŸ‘ And can we talk about EJAE's heartfelt speech? πŸ™Œ It was so inspiring to see her spread love and positivity on that stage.

Meanwhile, I'm not surprised Apple TV and HBO Max showed up, but they just couldn't compete with Netflix's magic ✨. But hey, it's always awesome to see some new faces win, like Noah Wyle and Jean Smart πŸŽ‰πŸ‘. And can we please give a shoutout to Amy Poehler for winning Best Podcast? That's just the icing on the cake! πŸ°πŸ“š

I gotta say, Netflix is on fire right now 🀯! I mean, who would've thought they'd sweep the whole Golden Globes? They're dominating the game, and it's not even close πŸŽ‰. But what really gets me is how "KPop Demon Hunters" broke records and still managed to win awards πŸ“ˆ. That EJAE speech was everything πŸ’–, and I'm so glad she used that platform to spread a message about redirection and not letting rejection hold you back πŸ’ͺ.

And let's be real, Apple TV is no slouch either 🍎. They may not have taken home as many awards, but they're still showing some serious competition πŸ”₯. But seriously, it's awesome to see all these talented creators winning recognition for their work πŸ™Œ.

But what really caught my eye was Amy Poehler taking home the award for Best Podcast πŸ“». I mean, who wouldn't want to listen to a podcast hosted by one of the funniest women in comedy? "Good Hang with Amy Poehler" sounds like the ultimate chat fest πŸ€—.

Ugh, just great πŸ™„... Netflix is just dominating everything now 🀯. Seven Golden Globes wins? That's just insane πŸ’₯. I mean, what's next? World domination 🌎? They're already taking over TV and now they're snatching up awards like nobody's business πŸ†. And don't even get me started on "KPop Demon Hunters" being the most-watched title... that's just crazy 😲. But hey, at least EJAE's speech about rejection was kinda inspiring πŸ’–. Not.

omg, i'm low-key shocked by netflixs domination at the golden globes 🀯😱 they're literally breaking records and crushing it! i mean, 'adolecence' is a total banger series and 'kpop demon hunters' is soooo iconic πŸ’₯πŸ‘€ i'm also loving that EJAE gave her speech about rejection being an oppurtunity for redirection - so empowering πŸ’–πŸ™Œ

Umm... I mean, yeah πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. So Netflix just cleaned up at those Golden Globes, right? I'm not surprised, though - they've been killing it with some great shows lately. But have you seen the competition they're up against? Like, Apple TV and HBO Max are still putting out solid stuff too... πŸ€”. I think what's interesting is how Amy Poehler won that podcast award - it's not like she was a traditional winner or anything πŸ˜‚. And can we talk about the song that EJAE won for? That's some serious talent right there πŸ‘.

But at the same time, I do wonder if Netflix's dominance is a little concerning... πŸ€”. Are they going to be able to keep putting out great content year after year? Or are they just riding their coattails on some big shows and original movies? πŸŽ₯. Either way, it's exciting to see all these talented creators getting recognition, even if Netflix did take home the most awards tonight 😊

omg i'm so shocked at how dominated Netflix was at the 2026 Golden Globes 🀯 it seems like their original content is just on another level right now πŸ‘€ i mean "Adolescence" and "KPop Demon Hunters" are both incredible shows that really showcase the platform's ability to produce high-quality content across various genres.

and let's talk about Ricky Gervais, i love how he's not afraid to poke fun at himself while also giving shoutouts to his peers πŸ‘ it's always entertaining to watch him in a stand-up comedy setting.

but what's even more inspiring is the message behind EJAE's speech πŸ™Œ about rejection being an opportunity for redirection. it's such a powerful reminder that we all have to deal with setbacks at some point, and it's how we respond to them that truly matters πŸ’ͺ

I mean, can you believe Netflix just swept the 2026 Golden Globes? Like, seven awards for one company? That's a whole lotta sauce! I'm pretty sure their acceptance speech was like "Sorry Apple and HBO Max, we're just too good at making content". But seriously though, it's awesome to see shows like "Adolescence" getting the recognition they deserve. And congrats to EJAE on her win - that original song was fire! 🀩πŸ’₯

Ugh, Netflix is literally dominating everything these days 🀯. I mean, seven awards? It's just not fair to the other streaming platforms. Apple TV and HBO Max can't even get a win in that category! And don't even get me started on how they won for "Mortality" – has Ricky Gervais' schtick really aged that well 😴. The only show I actually watched was "KPop Demon Hunters", and it's just so... animated πŸ€ͺ. Give me a good live-action series any day!

😊 I gotta say, Netflix is killing it right now! Seven Golden Globes? That's a major win. I mean, people can trash them if they want, but let's be real, "Adolescence" is a masterpiece. Stephen Graham deserves that Best Actor award for life πŸ™Œ. And can we talk about EJAE's speech at the "KPop Demon Hunters" awards? Her message about rejection being an opportunity to redirect is so powerful πŸ’–. I'm not saying Apple TV or HBO Max didn't bring their A game, but Netflix just straight-up owns this year πŸ†

man I'm so down for Netflix taking home all those awards 🀩 they really proved that their shows are some of the best out there, no surprise they took down Apple and HBO Max. but what really got me was that show "KPop Demon Hunters" broke records to become the most-watched title on Netflix, that's crazy! πŸš€ and can you believe EJAE won an award for her original song? it's not just about the awards though, it's about how shows like these are changing the game. now I'm hyped for what they'll bring out next, "Adolescence" is a must-watch btw πŸ’₯

idk how they can give awards to netflix and not apple tv?? 🀯 they've been putting out some fire content lately... like what's up with hulu not even having any winners? πŸ˜’ that mic dropped for amy poehler tho, i'm low-key hyped she won best podcast πŸŽ™οΈ

omg what a night 🀩 netflix totally slayed at the golden globes I'm not surprised tho their shows are always so on point "adolescence" is such a hidden gem though i've been meaning to check it out ASAP has anyone else seen it? and congrats to EJAE for her powerful speech πŸ™

man i'm not surprised about netflix sweepin the globes they've been crushin it in original content lately πŸ€‘πŸ‘ "Adolescence" was on point with those four awards and I'm still hyped about "KPop Demon Hunters" 🀩 EJAE's acceptance speech gave me chills, talk about using your platform for good πŸ’–

omg 7 awards is insane! i think what's wild is that apple tv's win for ricky gervais' stand-up comedy special is pretty iconic 🀣 but honestly i was expecting more from hulu considering michelle williams is a superstar actress... maybe they just had an off year? anyway, congrats to netflix on their huge sweep - it's no surprise that "adolescence" and "kpop demon hunters" are hits, but it's awesome to see ricky gervais taking home the comedy award πŸŽ‰

OMG, can you believe how dominated Netflix was at those Golden Globes 🀯! I mean, 7 awards is crazy! I'm so glad they picked up that award for "Adolescence" tho, it's such a powerful show πŸ“ΊπŸ’– and Stephen Graham's win was well deserved. And EJAE's speech about rejection? πŸ’ͺ🏼 totally gave me chills 😭. Netflix really proved why they're the king of streaming right now πŸ‘‘. But I gotta say, Amy Poehler winning Best Podcast is like, a total game changer πŸŽ™οΈ! It's awesome to see more creators getting recognition for their podcasts πŸ“»πŸ’«.

I mean, come on... seven wins at the Golden Globes? That's insane! Netflix is like, totally dominating everything right now. I'm not surprised though, their content is so fire πŸ”₯. But can we talk about how Ricky Gervais' win for best stand-up comedy was basically a joke? Like, he didn't even have to show up in person! πŸ˜‚ Still, congrats to him and Netflix on an amazing haul. And I love that EJAE dedicated her award to those who've been rejected – it's all about perspective, right? 🌈

So Netflix just cleaned house at the Golden Globes and I'm not surprised πŸ˜‚, but seriously who doesn't love a good show? "Adolescence" is like the relatable older sibling that we all wish we had 🀣. And Stephen Graham's win for Best Actor was like, wow, I didn't know he could act so much... or did he just really bad at his old job? πŸ˜‚ Anyway, congrats to Netflix and all the winners! Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go watch some "KPop Demon Hunters" and try to get into that K-pop music 🎡.

omg I'm so shocked at how much Netflix won 🀯! I mean, I knew they were killin' it but seven awards?! That's insane πŸ’₯! And can we talk about "Adolescence" for a sec? I've been watchin' it with my friends in school and it's literally the best thing since sliced bread 🍞. Stephen Graham's acting is on point πŸ”₯, I'm not surprised he won Best Actor. But what really got me was EJAE's speech about rejection - it's so true that rejections are just an opportunity to try again 🌱. And congrats to Ricky Gervais for his win in stand-up comedy, we need more laughs at school πŸ˜‚!
