I feel so bad for Ryan Richmond & all those early entrepreneurs who got caught up in that mess. It's crazy that they were just trying to help people with medical conditions & ended up facing all this intimidation & prosecution. Asset forfeiture is wild , like who gives the state permission to take your stuff without a trial? And it's not just about them, patients were really suffering too - unsure of their meds or when they'd get them again. It's good that Michigan eventually got its act together & created a licensing system, but I'm still shaking my head over what happened back then
