man, this whole thing is just wild
I mean, who doesn't want autonomous cars, right? but at what cost? 
Waymo's got some serious egg on their face with these incidents. I get that they're still learning and tweaking, but 2 dozen violations? that's a lot of mistakes for a company that claims to have it all figured out

And yeah, the fact that they refused to halt operations when the buses were around is just plain stupid
. I don't blame the school district for wanting to protect their students, and I think Waymo should've been more considerate of that from the get-go. The update they're making is a good start, but it's gonna take a lot more than that to regain trust.
It's all about accountability, you know?
If Waymo can't even get this right with something as simple as school buses, how are we supposed to trust them on the road? I'm keeping an eye on this one, for sure
