Onboard the world's largest sailing cargo ship: is this the future of travel and transport?

this sailing cargo ship thingy is defo giving me LIFE ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’จ i mean, 90% of shipping needs to go green and these guys are like "hey let's try this wind-powered stuff" ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ and omg the math on that reduced fuel consumption is wild - nearly half less? that's some serious savings ๐Ÿ’ธ but also can we talk about the front sail cracking and being all damaged ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ and the price point of โ‚ฌ3,200 is straight up STEEP ๐Ÿ’ธ for a two-week cruise what's the goal here tho? are they just testing the waters or what?

๐ŸŒŠ just think about it - our entire global trade system is shifting towards wind power ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ! 90% of shipping needs to switch to greener fuels ๐Ÿš€ and the Neoliner Origin is leading the charge ๐Ÿ’ช. I mean, sure it had its ups and downs (literally ๐Ÿ˜…) but that front sail cracking was just a minor setback. And can you believe it saved us 35 hours in fuel consumption compared to traditional ships? That's some serious progress! ๐Ÿšซ It's crazy to think about the potential for this tech to decarbonise the entire industry ๐Ÿ’ฅ. We're on the cusp of something massive here...

๐Ÿšข๐Ÿ’จ Decarbonising shipping is gonna be wild. Like, imagine the impact if every ship switched to renewable hydrogen ๐Ÿ’ก 90% of the industry needs to change, but think about all those jobs & savings ๐Ÿค‘

๐Ÿšข๐Ÿ’จ omg did u guys see the vids of this massive sailing ship? ๐Ÿคฏ it's like something outta a fantasy movie! ๐ŸŒŠ 90% decarbonisation is gonna change the game for shipping industry ๐Ÿ’ธ and I'm low-key hoping they can make it more affordable for regular people to use it ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿšดโ€โ™€๏ธ

i was also thinking about the speed - nearly half less fuel consumption is crazy ๐Ÿ˜ฒ i mean we're already using trains and planes to save time, but this is on a WHOLE other level! โœˆ๏ธ and 35 hours of fuel vs 30+ train & plane travel? That's like a carbon footprint victory dance ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿ’š
