Powerful wave in Tenerife leaves four swimmers dead after being swept out of ocean pool

its so sad what happened at the pool the signs and fencing are there for a reason, cant people just take it serious anyways, pools in areas with rough seas should be more restricted or fenced off properly maybe some education campaigns can help raise awareness about the dangers of these spots

man it's just so crazy how those 4 swimmers got caught out in that rough sea like what were they even thinking? i mean i know it's Tenerife and all but come on, check the signs and stuff before jumping in, right? and yeah the pool itself is pretty sketchy, all that volcanic rock and slippery rocks below... just not a good combo. and i feel bad for those who were trying to rescue them, got stuck out there in the rough seas too anyway, hope the people of Tenerife learn from this one and are more careful next time around

This is so sad what a terrible way to go, just enjoying the pool and then BAM! Out to sea they are . The locals are right, it's like people don't know how strong the sea can be here. I mean, we live on an island with volcanic rock and ocean around us, it's not exactly a secret .

I feel for the families of those who lost their lives , 3 innocent people just swept away by the sea. It's crazy that there were warnings in place but people still went in anyway . The authorities are right to be saying that we need to take care when using public pools during rough seas.

It's a good thing the rescue teams came so quickly and were able to recover 3 bodies , at least they got some closure. But yeah, it's just not safe for people to go into the pool during these weather conditions . We need to be more careful and listen to the warnings .
