ReAnimator Coffee, a Philadelphia-based coffee chain, is set to open its sixth location in Mount Airy. The new shop, situated at 6509 Germantown Ave., is expected to be ready by spring, according to owners Mark Capriotti and Mark Corpus.
Despite still having some work to do, the duo expressed their enthusiasm for bringing their signature coffee roasts to the community. As a resident of Mount Airy, Capriotti cited the neighborhood's potential customer base as a major draw for the expansion.
The news comes on the heels of ReAnimator Coffee's continued growth, which has seen the chain open locations in Fishtown, South Kensington, South Philly, West Philly, and Port Richmond. The company is known for its unique approach to coffee roasting, with signature blends named after notable Philadelphians such as Saquan Barkley and Jalen Hurts.
What's more, the brand has a strong commitment to giving back to the community. Past blends have raised funds for the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia, further solidifying ReAnimator Coffee's reputation as a socially conscious business.
