Rubio tells senators there's 'good and decent progress' in Venezuela since US ousted Maduro

the fact that the US is finally starting to see progress in venezuela after all the turmoil is kinda awesome 🙌, i mean it's about time they acknowledged delcy rodriguez' new government and started working together. but at the same time, it's a bit worrying that there are still so many domestic issues being ignored in favor of this foreign policy move. like, shouldn't we be focusing on fixing our own problems before we start throwing resources at another country? 🤔 also, i'm not sure if 'good and decent progress' is the right phrase for it... seems a bit too rosy to me 😐
